ive been using this health department since i moved to cartersville. Back in January, i had an appointment and they told me to be there early around 7:30. I got there at 740 worried bc i was running a little late. and saw there was a line outside. i stood out there in the cold with my newborn son and they didnt even open the doors until 8. so why did i stand there freezing? Well anyways the WIC girls at the front desk are so rude and always have an attitude. And their wait times are ridiculous, its like they schedule everyone at the same time.

They told people to be here at 7:30am cause thats when they open their doors. I got out and stood in line at 7:20am. It was windy and cold people had their babies out in that weather too. I have now been standing out here for 30 minutes and they still have yet to open the doors. They shouldnt tell people to get here 30 minutes early that they open the doors.

Very crowded at times. Long wait times, but that is to be expected, due to the nature of the business. They are very affordable, also the staff is welcoming, kind, polite and honest up front with no hidden prices.
