I had to find a new doctor at a VA over 40 miles from my home because Dr. V is incompetent. After 1.5 years of waiting for neck surgery under Dr. Vs "care", my new VA doctor helped get me the neck surgery I needed to address my pain and to prevent further nerve damage to my spinal cord within 30 days of being assigned to him. I am left with numbness in my left hand from the nerve in my neck being pinched for so long that will never go away because Dr. s solution to my neck pain was to do "breathing exercises" and "go to the ER and raise cain" the entire time she was my "doctor ".

Pleasant, helpful, caring and efficient staff. Dr V (Visvanathan) is smart and caring. But, like most providers in the VA, appointments are always more than a month out. However, theyre always glad to try to move the date up if you will call and ask.
