The staff move slow as molasses. I understand that they are dealing with a high volume amount of people, so I do understand that there will be a wait. However, they called me into the office because I missed my appointment earlier in the week. I usually get a text reminder but for whatever reason I did not this particular time, so I forgot about my appointment. She called and asked me to come in at 10 a.m. I deliberately told her that my daughter had another appointment at 2 and she assured me that I would be out by then because they werent busy that day. I get to the office 15 minutes early just to give myself some extra time to get the ball rolling. I went through the usual process for about 2 hours, which is actually pretty decent for this office. They then told me that we had to see a nutritionlist. We sat in the back waiting for for OVER AN HOUR waiting on this particular person. By this point its going on 1 oclock and I have to be leaving soon to head to our dentist appointment. I went to the front desk to ask and they told me the nitritionlist would be out shortly. We waited for 30 MORE MINUTES until I finally told them that we couldnt wait any longer and we had to leave. The lady at the front desk had the NERVE to give me attitude and told me that I needed to stay, despite me having somewhere else that I needed to be. I spoke with another woman who then took my name and number, and said that I would be contacted soon with a new appointment day and time. It has now been 3 weeks and I havent received a call, and my child is without her vouchers. If you have the luxury to go to another location, PLEASE DO!!

We went at this location on two weeks back for my grandsons shot for 11 years. They completed all procedure and when we went in office nurse inform my daughter saying they were out of habit medicine so gave her the letter saying we can come back on 11/11/2016. So my daughter took us on 11 th and found they were closed for Veterans day. So we when today 11/14/2016 and reached the location at 4:35pm and my daughter when to talk to receptionist. There was a girl she said they cannot take him as they are done for the day. My daughter requested her as it was our third time coming for shot. She called her supervisor and ask us to request her. We told her please as it was 20 mins still till 5 pm and requested her. She said NO they are done for the day. Nurse came from office and supervisor asked me to talk to nurse. We explained the nurse and requested her too. They all started saying NO and were very loud and rude. My daughter even requested as she cannot get off every day as it is third time already. It was 20 mins left and for shot it should not take more then 5 mins. But they screemed and it was the worst service we ever faced from a public place like Health Center. They already charge me for that and after my third visit still didnt get my grandson a shot medicine. I m very much disappointed we had tears today.

Ive literally switch over to this place thinking it was a closer location than traveling to Smyrna, now Im regretting that I did because one thing for certain I used to be in and out at the Smyrna location. My last appointment here I had a 1:30pm appointment and I had to be at work for 3:00pm so I called to see if I can reschedule for an earlier time and they did schedule me for 11:00am which was great in my mind until I realized that I was sitting and waiting for hours and still havent gotten any vouchers. It was 2:30pm when they finally called me and thats only because I went up to the front desk questioning, mind you I had two toddlers that didnt have enough toys for all the kids to play with in the building, and ate all of the snacks I brought along so eventually they got hungry. They dont care about the children at all, the babies get cranky when theyre hungry and limited to play in a certain area with only a few toys!!! No one shouldnt have to wait no longer than 1hr tops for whatever in the WIC office dont get me wrong I do appreciate the milk but really!!!

EVERYTIME i go to this wic location it takes me HOURS just to get seen and to get my vouchers wether i have an appointment or not! The ladys are always walking around with attitudes being rude and they always give me the wrong milk! Horrible horrible service you can tell they hate working there. They argue with you if you have a problem its just so disappointing this is suppose to help women but they do nothing but give you sass! Im not going back to get my wic anymore id rather pay for formula which i always end up doing anyways! They give you the least amount of milk they can its sad they fixed the blinding up now they just need new employees!!!!

This place is horrible. The worker are doing nothing. I tried to called in to make an appointment, but the (770 514-2300) doesnt work. So I came in to the place to make an appointment for my baby, but the worker told me that I dont need an appointment and just walk-in. So I left the place and came back later that week with my baby without an appointment. This time was a different worker, and she told me that I need to have an appointment to get the baby check-up. And she told me to come back next week. This is suck. I have to take another day off from work to take my baby to the doctor.

This place is horrible now. I use to go there two years ago when I was pregnant with my son and the services were good. Presently the place socks. The workers do not care about you. If you have an appointment, you will have to wait for more than two hours before they even call your number. The workers are busy conversing and dont care about the people siting there. It does not matter weather you have an appointment or not. I had to stay there for more than 3hours before getting the voucher. I guess a lot of people left before their numbers were even reached.

The Dental Clinic at Cobb & Douglas Public Health (CDPH) is now offering exams and cleanings for children starting at $55. Under the direction of new Dental Director Dr. Paul Waters, the clinic serves children from ages 2 – 18 and provides exams and cleanings which includes X-rays and fluoride. Do not go for dental services, they will charge you $ 100 dollars for a visit and xrays , they hold money from you for next visit and they will schedule a new visit for cleaning and charge you more and more.

The website listing is incorrect. Please update, people depend on this info to schedule their time to meet your hours. If one has to be in by 3pm for school health exams, it should not say 4pm. If you have a verbal cut off times due to volume then the site should say services offered on volume bases and may cut off early. Especially since you dont accept appointments for an exam that the county requires to enroll students in school.
