First off let me say that Great expressions is a real rip off Your first appointment they take X-rays and talk to you about ur teeth which you assume that you are recieving consultation but its not. They are gonna give a list of all these types of cleanings and treatments and try to tell you that you need these first before fixing a cavities which when I was younger the dentist filled cavities without all these special cleaning treatment. But for the cleaning you have to get a consultation which is $115.00 which you thought your first visit was since they give a print out on what one needs to do to their teeth. Oh but they dont do wisdom teeth extractions so even though the dentist may verbally tell you they need to come out its wont be on the list of things needed to be done . And if you need your wisdom tooth removed only the Snellville office can do it so dont bother with the wall Street office of and when you go to Snellville for the extraction thats another $115.00 for a consultation and that doesnt include that actual extraction fee. And to top it all off A Ms.Joney their receptionist has horrible customer service skills she is very rude and gets very mouthy over the phone and I thought once inside the office her attitude would be better, unfortunately it was she is very sarcastic and condescending. Im sorry but great dental is nothing but a chain of dentist offices out to rob you of your money, give crappie service, and care nothing about their patients its all about the money. And through all of this I was in sooo much pain with my wisdom tooth and nobody showed any concern or empathy for my well being. I will never come here again!

Do not. I repeat, DO NOT go to this office. I normally dont leave reviews, but I need to for this horrible scam of a practice. I went in to get a basic check up, and get some cavities filled. Requested for a basic cleaning, and some fillings. They refused the basic cleaning, said I NEEDED a special cleaning that would cost me 600 dollars (outside of my insurance plan) - I would NEED one crown, which they then turned into two crowns at a later visit - and that I would NEED the more expensive fillings for cavities. Costing me a total of more than 3 thousand dollars for what was supposed to be a routine check up within the capabilities of my insurance. To add insult to injury, all of these treatments are of dire consequence - as they made it seem like my teeth would fall out tomorrow if I didnt get these treatments done right away. (I dont smoke, or chew on rocks - and I brush and floss everyday) They dont listen to what you need, they dont care. Theyll take what you request and shove it right back up your butt with "recommendations" for the more expensive treatments. The doctor is 20 something, inexperienced, and a down right awkward individual. The front desk receptionist is incredibly rude, unprofessional, arrogant, and a disgusting individual (picks up the phone cracking up, answering with a "Yes?" like Im bothering her) Please...please go elsewhere. These people do not care about your needs, and only want the most profit possible.

Ive gone to the office a couple of times and I must say, the head dentist has a horrible attitude and doesnt have great people skills. If youve ever had to feel nervous about visiting a dentist office because no one made you feel comfortable, this one is the one to avoid. Also, I had to get fill-ins at this location and they only have a one year warranty on fill-ins (fill-ins should last anywhere from 7-10 years). My fill in went out a little over a year and they refused to cover it!! My insurance didnt cover it because they expect the dentist office to have a 2-3 warranty. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE. I just had to finish paying off an extra $150.00 on top of the $80 I paid for my fill-in because they wanted to give me a hard time about it. On top of that, when I called and just wanted someone in the staff to sympathize with me, every staff member I spoke to caught an attitude and tried to argue back. Ive decided to use another dentistry for myself and anyone else that used this office. They definitely need to improve their warranty program (this is someones mouth youre dealing with) and the behavior and attitudes of their team. The two stars I gave this practice is for the one person who actually took the time to talk to me and actually care about my teeth and oral health. Thanks to you... but everyone else... Im on to the next!

I went to this office before Great Expressions bought it and I thought I would go back until I dealt with very ugly office staff and read a patient review on Rate MD about this office staff and the Dr. After having a bad experience with a prior dentist yrs before and the wrong tooth was pulled, I was startled and worried about this review. I wont be going there ever again. The following is a review by a patient you can find on Rate MD, but its under the dentists name, not the practice. Dr. Tani Rainford " 2/19/13" They over charged me by 500 dollars. She told me I needed work done hat wasnt necessary. My fillings fell out the next day and the tooth beside he one she did filling on she broke it. Insurance: Delta Dental Paid/Co-pay: $700

My experience was much like the other reviews I took my son for his regular cleaning only to be told they would not do it we need a more extensive cleaning for $200 after waiting an hour and a half with no services rendered at the end. I was also told he needed 7 sealants and two filings for a total cost to me over $600.00. My confusion happened when they suggested the cleaning before the filling Ive always thought it would be the dentist practice to save teeth before anything. I requested to have the free cleaning that the insurance would cover and was told no they couldnt to that. Needless, to say I would not recommend this practice to anyone please keep looking for a honest dentist practice
