I went there for a basic exam/xray/cleaning first visit. After having me placed in the patients chair and having the dentist evaluate my teeth, he had to get the financial person come talk to me r/g what I needed done and finances -- while Im still laying there in patients chair with my head turned 180 degree trying to talk to her. They should wait till patient is taken care of what he/she came there for and then discuss further treatment plan and finance issues. Then the dentist comes in and says, I cant do the cleaning on you b/c you need deep cleaning and other work. At that point I got very angry and said thats ridiculous!! Im here for the cleaning, so just clean my teeth and well discuss the deep cleaning and other stuff later. He said, sorry, cant do. Then after realizing I was getting more angry, he said ok and did the cleaning. The whole experience seemed VERY CHEESY. I own my medical practice and I understand financials do count but the way they did it was just so awful; worse than a Used Car Sales premise. What they need to understand is this -- A successful medical/dental practice is based on winning patients heart and trust so theyll return and refer others; Not by ripping everything they have in their wallet on the day of the visit b/c sure you may make a few bucks that day but overall the practice will have no hope since more than likely the patient wont return or refer!! You can have all the fancy office gadgets, coffee pods in the waiting room, new tech stuff -- but none of that works to have patients trust and return like personal trust building relationship does. When you appear as Used Car Salesman, doesnt matter how fancy your office is, people will pick that up and probably wont return. And then to top it off, at the end of the visit when it came to pay for the cleaning, the office manager asked me to sign a page reflecting that "Payment Due" of around $3000; when I asked what is this, he told me, oh, this is just the stuff the dentist talked to you about that you needed done at some point. So I asked, why the heck am I signing Payment Due page for this? He said, ok just forget about this page. Just cheesy.

Went for a cleaning/ X-ray a couple of months ago and the service was fine. Paid $60 while I was there. Now 6 months later I get a bill for $233! What the heck?? I call their office 2 times with no answer! The 3rd time I call I get placed on hold, then the receptionist speaks up and I tell her what is going on! Then she says that their is zero balance in my account! Ok great, I wouldve gotten over it and hung up if it wasnt for the fact that my parents both received bills in the mail stating they owe money too! They called, same thing zero balance due. So then why are you guys sending out bills to people stating that they were at the office on a certain date and that they owe money for a service when that never happened?! I asked the receptionist this and she got so defensive and rude! Saying that she cant talk about my parents account! I didnt ask anything about their account! I just told her what happened! She shouldnt have given me an attitude like that! Last time I will ever go there! They lost 4 customers today for their mistakes! They need to get organized and stop sending out bills that dont exist! Because I bet if someone tried paying it, they wouldnt say no theres no balance! Terrible! My entire family will no longer go here! Stay away!

I moved and could no longer drive to my dentist so I looked for options in my new area. I found this place online and the team was young, friendly and office looked nice. Big mistake. They do lie right to your face. They will say anything to get more money out of you. You only need x-rays once a year but they will take new ones every time you go in. Where are the others? You will go in more often because "something else needs work". I came here for cosmetic and left with no teeth, a bad bridge that literally fell out of my mouth, no contact from them whatsoever and empty pockets. I went back to my original dentist and she could not believe how much cement was left in my mouth and needed 2 crowns. My teeth were getting worse. I went to Wanda the hygenist and she did not clean properly. To quote my current dentist, "It doesnt look like you were getting them cleaned." These people will do whatever they have to, to scam your insurance. When you call/email them there is no response. "Dr. Sconion is busy. He will call you back." Its been 6 months. Do not go here!!!!!

I really wanted to get my childrens teeth cleaned here. I arrived for my appointment and began signing forms. I said that I didnt want my children to have x-rays taken of their teeth because they would be exposed to radiation. The dentist then refused to allow the cleaning or physical exam because I refused the x-ray portion. I was willing to sign a waiver (because they are so concerned about "liability") but they wouldnt allow it. I cant believe that he would care more about liability than being sure that children have proper dental cleanings and care. If I am their parent, I should have the right to refuse part of the treatment. I dont feel that x-rays are healthy for growing children, but they still need cleaning to keep their teeth healthy!

I went in for my first cleaning in over 8 years and I must admit I was pretty nervous. Even though Im in the medical field the Dentist is not my favorite appointment to make. Ive had a lot of tooth pain and I was very apprehensive about my appointment but I made myself go in because I needed to get my cleaning and find out what was causing my pain. From the beginning the entire staff was very kind and helpful. I told them of my pain and concern and they all went out of their way to make my visit comfortable. I look forward to going back and have already made an appointment for my family to visit there. Definitely a top notch facility of skilled and professional staff! Thank you for the excellent care Snellville Smiles Dentistry team!

I came to this office for a cleaning and exam. The x-rays were taken over 1 hour long before the teeth were cleaned, then the exam took another hour to convince me that I need to pay a lot of money for more treatments, showing me all the dirty spots on my teeth as "disease". I was totally exhausted from all these unnecessary x-rays and exams, I had to sign a form to release them from reliability from my refusing of letting them deep cleaning my gums, which would of course cost way more than regular cleaning. The cleaning was done by the dentist in 10 minutes, the worst cleaning I ever had. Ill never go back there ever again! I wasted my money and time.

I am a person who totally avoided the dentist like the plaque. However, the staff at Snellville Smiles change the way I feel about dental care. Andrea and Shawnece were always very kind and have a way of making you feel at eased. Dr.Anizor is the best dentist ever. She is very gentle and explained everything in detail and patiently entertained all of my questions. Kim, Wanda and LaRhonda were also excellent in what they do. They went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. If you have a phobia towards going to the dentist like I did, I highly recommend Snellville Smiles.
