I would recommend Suwanee Family Dentistry to anyone who is interested in improving their smile. I was not happy with the condition of my teeth and called their office for a free consultation. I was interested in the Invisalign braces and discussed with Dr. Starnes in what ways I wanted to improve my smile. Dr. Starnes along with the entire office is always so congenial and willing to listen to why you are coming to their office. Her assistant, Erika is great and they make such a great team. It is such a pleasant experience to go to the dentist. After x-rays, I returned to the office to discuss further treatment. I was disappointed to hear from Dr. Starnes that due to a crossbite problem I was not an excellent candidate for the invisalign braces. Even though I was disappointed, I was grateful for her honesty with me and knew from that point on I could certainly trust her expertise. She offered me a couple of names of other dentists that she thought might possibly help me, but at the time I did not go see them. After a while, Dr. Starnes got word through a friend of mine who was also visiting Suwanee Family Dentistry to come back and see her, that she may be able to help me after all. I was really surprised that she remembered me and was genuinely interested in helping me accomplish improving my smile. I did return to see Dr. Starnes and am so happy that I did. We decided to go with the porcelain veneers on my top teeth. It only took 2 visits and I had a white straight smile. Erika makes beautiful temporaries so it is not even uncomfortable while waiting on the permanent veneers. I was so happy with the service I received at Suwanee Family Dentistry that about six months later I returned to have the same porcelain veneers put on my bottom teeth and have never for a minute regretted doing so. The office personnel are fantastic, explaining to you up front what the fees are going to be and are very eager to file your insurance for you. I cant think of anything they could do to improve their services and a dentist like this is very hard to find today. Thank you so much Dr. Starnes and Erika for improving my smile and making me feel so comfortable during the treatment. I could never thank you enough!

The hygienist was really nice but she didnt perform the best. I had a deep cleaning and she didnt do a good job with the cleaning. My condition was still the same as if I never had the deep cleaning. The next time I came back in to see the dentist for a different service, I saw the hygienist and she had this fake guilty look on her face b/c she knew she didnt do her best work on my cleaning. Now about the dentist, she seem nice but every time I saw her she was always rushing me. She never ask me if I had any questions after she rush to explain the normal procedures. I had to stop her from rushing out of the room just to ask her some questions I needed to ask. As a patient, we should be taken seriously. She also rushed when working on my crown and filling. After a few days from getting my crown, I kept having pain. I called the office and the dentist didnt have a sense of care about it. She told the front desk that shes not available to at the moment and that I can come in on a different day that she will be in. I was in pain, this should be an emergency! When I was finally able to see the dentist, she act as if my pain was nothing. She took a look at my tooth and quickly said "oh, its just b/c of your bite that caused the pain". She buffed my top tooth a little and said Ill be fine. I said I still have pain and needed some medication to help b/c I was unable to sleep at night and affected my performance at work. She prescribed me a pain medication. As I got to my car and looked at the prescription, the PATIENT NAME was someone elses name NOT mine. Was this intentionally or she rushed to do everything? I walked back into the office and told the front desk lady about this, the dentist came up and printed out the correct prescription with the correct name... mine. Overall, this dentistry is a terrible place. I did not have a great experience. These people are fake and dont care about their patients. They only care about the money. Theres no passion. Always rushing to get as many patients in and out so they can hurry up and go on with their day.

My family is new to Georgia, my kids and husband have been seeing them for a year or so, my family has insurance under my husband and we never have balance overdue. Well, that whats considered to be good customer, right? Finally I got a chance to make my first visit to dental office, I filled out the new patients forms including a form to accept my financial responsibility for the services I received, well, that is fair and I have no objection. After turning in all the new patient forms I was called upon by the receptionist telling me I have to provide my social security number. Firstly, I never gave out my SS# to any doctors office, secondly this dental office has been operating without either my husband or my SS# for the past familys visits and it has been fine, all in a sudden that becomes a problem? I insisted I will not give out my SS# and they said I can sign a form to waive that requirement but I have to pay the service out of pocket at my visits, they will not file insurance. Here is what doesn’t make sense : does that mean if my other family members (their old patients and under the same insurance) visit them next time they have to pay in full as well, but all along this dental office has had no problems filing insurance ? I can understand that apply to new patients, in doing so they may better protect their financial interests. But that is not my case, my family has been seeing them, they have our records, we pay our bills!!! I was appalled the way I was treated, the front office has not demonstrated any flexibility and good judgement but adhere to the “1-size-fit-all” policy that will only drive their good customers away!

5 stars well earned! From first contact with the coordinating team who happily and helpfully scheduled my appointment through my checkup and cleaning, this is easily the best dentistry practice Ive visited in my 30+ years. The front coordinating team - my primary contact point was Cindy - are a color-coordinated powerhouse who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Beverages of all types are available in their beautifully decorated lobby and with an *online check-in system* for new patients, I was able to breeze in and out, no hassles. The technicians I saw (Ashley and Melissa) were excellent listeners and very professional. Their obvious expertise relaxed me as I reclined in their homey exam rooms which overlooked a gorgeous view of evergreens. Each made sure I was comfortable at all times and explained in detail what they were doing - a lovely bonus that made me feel I was in good hands. My dentist, Dr. Lyles, was not only genuinely interested in my dental health, but also took the time to pay special attention to all of my concerns. Add to that the exam she administered was easily the most thorough Ive ever had, as well as the most pleasant, and you can understand my happiness with the experience. I would recommend this practice to friends, family, even strangers in a heartbeat. I have never felt so comfortable or taken care of in a dentists office - Highest Possible Recommendation.
