This is an honest, not in the racket game of you will pay anything to get your animal well. I took my german shepherd to FOUR yes four different vets over a 24 hour period knowing that my dog had bloat torsion and knowing that he may die any second, it was excruciating. I arrrived with my dog about 10:30 at night when I noticed he was trying to throw up several times and nothing but bile came out. The he would come back in and then beg to get back out. I knew somethign was seriously wrong..VET 1 in Mariette Ga an EMERGENCY VET on US41 just below Kennesaw. the 21 something vet on call just out of school, diagnoised a spleen problem after the examination. mind you he had never done a bloat torsion operation and i argued with him about what was wrong, They strapped him to a table started an IV and was ready to shave him for surgery, in the meantime the staff up front asked for my SSN and was checking my credit for a $5500 loan the first ten minutes was over $300 and they were doing a HARD CLOSE on me for the LOAN. I demanded my dog back and threw my AMX card to them and took my dog as i was carrying out my 100 lb GSD they threatened to call the police and have me arrested. VET I called Lake Acworth US41 told me to bring him, i was up all night with a sock with ice in it in his mouth that i gave my dog and an asprin, .At 7 am i was at the door then they told me oh we are sorry our girl doesnt do large animal surgery, they send me to Bartow Animal clinic, i get there no vet is on duty just the aids, and they put my dog in a ice cold concrete kennel and he is screaming . I learned in the hard way tahat if i kept walking my dog he felt better, so i walked him around the building for 45 minutes then get told the large animal vet will be there by 1p.m., furious I leave, they knew i was coming, I stood there when the vet called to tell them. SO i am sent to Lake Acworth at the old original location, It is now 9:30 and most dogs do not make it 1 hour we are going on 12 hours now and SEVE my dog is screaming constantly, FIrst he will not go in the building, FROM how they treated him the last time we were there..I get inside and there are at least ten people ahead of me and they are waiting for shots and typical stuff i go to the front and explain i have Seve he has bloat torsion of the stomach, The Staff woman siad" I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE" I said my dog is dying ihow long will it be before the vet can see him, she said an hour or two. I left and remember the vet in Dacula from when I used to live in Lawrenceville. I called dr Montgomery, told him i was on the way . I drove a ford truck 100 miles an hour all the way to Dacula ANimal Hospital. I went in the door they grabbed Seve, drew blood while i filled out papers they had the blood work done in 18 minutes and in 19 minutes he was being operated on and they were short a vet that day and they ask me to assist, i held my own dogs stomack and spleen and intestines. I was shocked, the cut was so perfect,my dog did not bleed one drop of blood out of his body and he was stomach tacked and sewn up with in less than an hour. BY 1:00 my nightmare was over and I was in the kennel with my dog praying that he would make it and not be brain dead. Doc said i had a five percent chance of him making it and he would have nueroligicial damage. he made it he was walking and playing and perfect with in a few days. $800 not $5500 and a guy who would surely have killed him. Montgomery told me he would never have believed this dog lived thru the night and thru all this if i didnt have the paperwork from the previous vets. This Vet, DR Montgomery, is the best ! I later found out one outfit owned all four vets I previously went to, unbelievable. Some vets are in it for the money and others are in it for the animals.

About one year ago our friend found an abused dog and asked if we wanted it. Well we had promised our daughter she could but never got her one. When this dog came into our house my daughter and this dog fell in love with each other, she called her Kerli and they loved each other. On the other hand she resented and feared any male she met so I told my daughter we had to check her out before I would keep her so we found Dacula Animal Hospital and they took the time to give her a thorough checkup even though there were males they we kind and caring and the dog felt it. Kerli had issues but they gave us medication and told us if we needed anything just call or come in. This gave me the assurance to keep Kerli I am in Love with her as much as my daughter, she still favors my daughter over me but I am a close second.she has had her second checkup and is in good health. I trust this hospital and more important Kerli feels safe and comfortable there as well

I was in desperate need of find a good veterinarian, I decided to go outside of the city and see if a veterinary in the country was better. I called and drove out there. Dr. Montgomery was very caring and took the time to advise me what I needed for my cat. I commented to him that he was actually showing care on examining her. He recommend the required information to correct my pets problem. I would definitely return to him for future care. The staff assisted in carrying out the pet and cage and greeting you pleasantly. The office atmosphere is very pleasant, pets greeting you. I really like this for my pet care. No more money wasted on procedures, and the other vets only interested in the money aspect.

There arent enough words to describe just how wonderful Dacula Animal Hospital is. We started going there in 2005 when we lived in Dacula, and have since moved out of the area. We would never take our pets anywhere else, no matter how far we lived from Dacula. You will never find Doctors and staff who care as much as they do about your pets. They treat them as if they were their own, and the love they show to them is immeasurable! I would recommend that anyone looking for a vet, or even if you currently have one, to try Dacula Animal Hospital. I promise that once you do, you will never go anywhere else. The are just amazing people who go above and beyond when caring for your pets.

We have been taking our pets to Dacula Animal Hospital for over 26 years. This includes 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 bunny. Everyone who works there is kind and loves on our pets when we are there. Dr. Montgomery has performed miracles! He keeps current on veterinarian meds, etc. and takes his time in explaining everything to you. I have seen him (more than once) walk into the exam room and know exactly what was going on with my pet before he even ran the test. I have recommended him to several friends, and they all agree he is amazing. I cant imagine taking my fur babies anywhere else.
