Both veterinarians at Chateau Animal Hospital are very thorough, and also gentle when examining our pets. We have a dog, Buddy, and cat, Zelda. In the past we had a Jack Russell, named Zoro, and another calico, Isadore that Dr. Betteker treated for several years prior to them passing away. When it got to the end of their lives, and nothing else could be done to help them, he showed much compassion, as we faced having to put them to sleep. Dr. Betteker has been the main vet we have seen for over 12 years. We started using him as our vet when he first opened his practice in Braselton. From routine checkups, to taking care of serious injuries, which have required surgery, he has shown nothing but the most expert of care. When it is beyond his scope of treatment, he will tell you, and then recommend the UGA Vetenary Hospital. Last year our dog, Buddy, tore his medial and posterior ligaments in his left back knee. Dr. Quesada is the expert on torn ACL, M&PCL surgeries. Recovery was as expected and now Buddy is doing very well again, and back to his normal rambunctious self, even though he is almost 12 years old! The staff at the hospital are all very friendly and go out of their way to help you and your pets. They always call to check how my pets are doing the next day, even if Buddy has just come in for a Spa day! When we had to put Zoro and Isadore to sleep, they also sent a sympathy card and everyone in the office had written a note and signed it both times. They have always treated my pets like part of their family. I highly recommend Chateau Animal Hospital for all your pets needs.

The front staff was great the Male Vet was less then Professional to say the least. The groomer cut our dogs leg choppy and we asked her nicely if she could fix with NO problem she said ok and took our dog back to fix. Mind you we have been coming for a long time and this keeps happening so I wanted it fixed this time especially for what we pay for it. It was all very nicely said and done until the Male vet whom I only thought must of been had something with this said person only because of the way he acted to bring us in a room and let us know how much we hurt her FEELINGS "ARE YOU SERIOUS" this is her JOB all she did was get paid to shave a little dog NOT hard at all things happen no big deal so WE thought. Male vet went on about how the groomer was very upset crying no less, ect. As if it was someone he was involved with. 1ST OF ALL GET A BACK BONE FOR THE GOOMER AND MALE VET ITS HER JOB TO CUT DOGS PROPERLY For goodness sake she saved a dog and left a choppy looking leg we wanted it cleaned up it was no big deal as the Male vet made it. It was DEFINITELY NOT HIS PLACE TO SAY ANYTHING UNLESS HE WAS DEFENDING HIS OTHER HALF AND THEN THAT WAS NOT THE PLACE, AT WORK OR HIS PLACE PERIOD. THE MALE VET MADE A HUGE DEAL OUT OF NOTHING AT ALL. GET OVER IT !! It sucks when a Male vets Ego gets in the way of his JOB and losses customers from it because apparently we are not only ones who have had a run in with this Ego trip guy. Next time look at the dog before you open your mouth and look like a Fool! PS check your Ego at the door its no place at your job SAD VERY SAD

We took are dog to Chateau Animal Hospital as he had a open soar above his lip. My wife on the initial visit felt it might be related to a bad tooth as the dog is approx 11 years old. They responded by saying no and proceeded to clean the soar and provided a prescription cost around $95.00. After about 3 weeks the soar was getting bigger and we returned, this time they stated they needed to have some lab tests, and to open the soar clean it out further and provide stitches, this cost $400.00, plus more prescriptions (extra cost). After a month the soar again was getting bigger and worse. We then went to another Vet., in Lawrenceville. Accordingly he stated the dog had 4 rotting teeth that had to be removed, cost $250.00. Our dog is now fine, bottom line what we orginally thought was the problem and related to Chateau Animal clinic was correct and they did not listen, nor did they properly diagnose the problem. A waste of a lot of money well over $600 with presriptions, etc. to Chateau. Thus I would give them a NO STAR rating. R. Jones

This is by far the best animal hospital and patient care we have ever received. The weekend hours are amazing..usually you have to take your pet to a weekend facility and get financially gouged. They do not have a premium for weekend care. We have always had a positive experience with their front desk, their groomers and their veterinarians. They will always go the extra mile......Adding more a year down the road and I can only say that Dr. Betteker and his team have grown into an essential part of our pet care family. We added two new puppies to the family over the last year and a half and they have provided the usual exemplary care as well as solid caring advice. They are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and have never been punitive on the unfortunate instances we have had to switch appointments at the last minute. I give them the highest recommendation.

The PEOPLE at Chateau Animal Hospital make it such a wonderful place to take my pets. They are very knowledgeable, kind and caring! I feel a warmth from them, and I know they truly adore my pets. On several occasions I have experienced their generosity, as they have set up payment plans for me, when I was not able to afford the bill in its entirety. They would rather see the pet taken care if, than for "it" to have to suffer because of your inability to pay full fees upfront. Chateau Animal Hospital is open every day of the week until 6:00, too, which is enormously helpful (and comforting). I would highly recommend Chateau Animal Hospital to anyone looking for superior care for their pets. I appreciate them, and their staff.

I have been bring my cat to Chateau Animal Hospital for 7 years. I had a compliant about the way a staff member responded to a request I made. I filled out their online review form that evening explaining my disappointment. Before 9am the next morning the person I had spoken with the previous day, was on the phone with me apologizing profusely and sincerely about the misunderstanding. I was touched that they would take the time call me personally. Chateau Animal Hospital reads their reviews and truly wants their customers to be happy and satisfied. Chateau Animal Hospital more than made this situation right and I truly appreciate the personal call to resolve the issue.

We see Dr. Beticar, and he is wonderful. He takes time to really listen, and examines our pets well. He has a kind and understanding nature. We tried some other vets in the area before we met him. When we ventured into his place, and experienced his work, we knew we had finally found the right vet to entrust our furry children. His office is well vented and very clean. Weve had several different types of experiences with him from the range of our five pets, and he handled every situation very well. We are satisfied costumers, and are pleased to recommend him.
