I moved back to Barrow Co. in 03, to be honest Auburn Animal Hospital was the closest Vet. Im glad they were. Dr. Rackley & his staff have always treated me & my dogs like family. Scout, a Yellow Lab was with me in 03, a year later Shadow, Blk. Lab mix joined us, shortly after that Little Bit. 7-18-07 was Scouts final visit to Dr. Rackley & 8-11-17 was Shadows final appointment. For Shadow Dr. Rackley came to my house which made things so much easier for Shadow. Ive relied on Dr. Rackley to help me keep my pups healthy & to date he & his staff have met or exceeded my expectations. And when that day comes and the only thing you have left to give is a gentle, peaceful, quick & painless exit from this world, you can rely on the good Doc.You may think its strange for me to include such a thing in a review, but having gone through it only a week ago its fresh & it IS a part of life. You & your four legged friend will want & deserve an excellent Vet, & an excellent person. Dr. Rackley is both. Good Luck & All The Best.

This is the best animal hospital around. I drive 25 minutes to get there and pass several other Vet offices along the way. I have been coming to Auburn Animal for 20 years. The Doctors are wonderful and understand when you are going thru stressful times with your furry kids. The Staff are so pleasant and helpful. Everyone gives you the help you need and are full of information. I have gone through full life cycles with my pets at Auburn Animal and will go nowhere else. We are home here.

Had an excellent experience. We took our sick ferret up there, he had a grossly enlarged spleen. The staff was pleasant and attentive, Dr. Rackley was knowledgeable and frank about what he did and did not know. He provided multiple diagnostic options and descriptions of what would be effective. He performed surgery to remove the spleen, and we didnt have to pay an arm for it. 3 months later, our little guy is doing great. Couldnt be happier!

If you are looking for a vet in the Gwinnett/Barrow County Area, I would like to highly recommend the Auburn Animal Hospital. They were so kind and sensitive with us when we had to make the unfortunate decision to let our Maggie Mae go. The Vet herself sent us the nicest handwritten card. If you go see them, I am betting you wont be disappointed. Really a very nice bunch of people.
