They are very quick for your appointments. Maybe too quick. I took my dog in for a growth on his foot, and they quickly identified the issue. However, they just told me to keep an eye on it, make sure it doesnt bleed, and if it does, bring him in for surgery. That seemed a bit excessive for a visual diagnosis. So my dog (being the crazy pup that he is) decided to bite off the growth a couple days later. I chose to go to a different vet because surgery just seemed excessive to me. New vet actually inspected his paw thoroughly, cleaned it, and provided medication for antinflamation and antibiotics. They did confirm surgery is a possible if it bleeds frequently or if it starts really swelling. Regardless, hes doing fine now and wont require surgery. Tldr; this place is only good for shots and easy checkups

I have to say EVERY time we have seen Dr. Barb not only is my Jack Russell (Sparky) super excited to go there and then sees her. But that she is wonderful to him & is great to the family meaning us. Recently he was at a Vet hospital for a few days. Got diagnosed with being a diabetic, they however, didnt satisify us with all the money we spent. Dr. Barb said he needs a certain food, but what we were doing by giving the shot every 12 hours & monitoring him was great. She also had to increase his insulin cause the other place put him on human insulin vs pet sulin. Now Sparkys count is down 175 from prior not even readable on the chart. THANK YOU THANK YOU Dr. Barb Saving Sparky he loves the food you suggested and is doing awesome. The Milliman Family.

Excellent Service and friendly and efficient staff. I have been going to Dr Barb since my dog Princeton was a puppy, he is now 7 and I do not have anything to complain about. I have never seen another vet (did not even know there was another Vet there until a week ago) but I will always choose to see Dr Barb. Princeton travels with us overseas at least twice per year and Dr Barb gets us his international Health certificate without issues. She is excellent and I would never choose to take him anywhere else. I have recommended several people to her and they are very pleased with her service.

We have used Dr. Barb for 21 years, she has seen all our dogs and is the only vet we trust our furry babies with! She cares and remembers details about each pet and family! All the vet techs are wonderful as well! However the newest receptionist doesnt give you the warm welcome we are used to feeling when you walk into the building, it used to be they knew who you were when you walked in even if you didnt have your pet with you, now its rare to get a greeting when you walk into the building, luckily once getting past the front desk the care is still as wonderful as ever!

The staff at Griffith has been so warm and friendly. They recognize my dog and I by name every time we go in. They remember his little quirks and are always so helpful when I call with a question about nutrition or an ailment my sensitive sally of a dog is facing. My dog has been going to Dr. Barb for his whole life, hes been neutered and everything at Griffith and I have to calm him down just pulling down the street because he knows and loves it there! Ive never known a dog to enjoy going to the vet so much. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Barb and her team!

I thought I found an adequate solution to keep my cat at ease on a 15 hr roadtrip. Unfortunately less than 45 minutes into the trip she started mutilating herself using her carrier gate. This place rocks! They got my girl in for an urgent appt on a busy Sat morning having never seen her before. Thanks to this vet we were able to immediately continue our trip safely. I am so thankful they didnt, but it would have been easy for them to take advantage of my situation, as MANY vets would have. Everything was very reasonable, especially given the circumstance.

Theyve always treated me right. My dog Ella was really sick once and they identified that she had eaten something poisonous and her liver was failing. I was a wreck and alone and they were very comforting. They ended up keeping her over night and she was all fixed up later the next day. Dr barb recommended a new food too and Im still using it 5 years later. I moved about 45 minutes away from them recently but they are the only place Ella will ever go.

Griffith Veterinary Hospital is #1. Dr. Barb and her staff are wonderful and we would go no where else. I have an older Cocker Spaniel that has had many issues. A few years ago she became very ill and we thought we were going to lose her. It took a few days but after a night in there hospital and Dr Barbs continuous care, she pulled thru. I know every time we go my dog is in great hands Dr Barb is truly amazing and my Little Lady loves her.

Dr. Barb and her staff are always gentle and calm with my pets. They are reasonably priced and go above and beyond answering all my questions. They are the only vet clinic my cat will allow to treat him and handle him without attacking the staff. This makes for an easier, less traumatic, less stressful and quicker visit for everyone. There is hardly ever a wait time and they always get me right into a room. I couldnt ask for a better vet!

I have tried 5 different vets since moving to Michigan and Barb is the best around. She is very friendly and nice to my pets. She always explains what she is doing and gives good follow up advise. When I had a problem with my cat and he needed surgury immediatly they worked out a payment plan so I could get my cat the surgury he needed.

First vet Ive been to where my dogs see the same person every time. Always friendly and reasonable. Even squeezed me in for an emergency visit before doing 3 surgeries without charging an emergency fee because I could make it before surgery started. Ive had dogs my entire life and seen at least 8 different vets, and this is by far the best!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Terrible experience with my cats neutering operation. When I picked up my cat I was told he may have a little bit of urine on his tail, but when I got home I found that the whole back half of his body was dripping in urine. Pathetic that they allow that on a fresh wound.

I did not see the same vet every time, felt as though they played down my cats issues, and I paid less for medications and visits when I lived in Washington D.C. which is a drastically overinflated area. I intend to transfer to a different vet clinic.
