I recently moved to the Palmetto area so I picked this office due to it being a close location. The girls in the front are great and got me in the same day. After seeing the doctor I was shocked how quickly it went down hill. Im a very healthy in shape male under 30 and experienced a Ganglion Cyst in the joint of my finger causing severe to mild pain daily. The doctor wrote me a prescription for nerve medicine and a 800 mg ibuprofen. I tried the combination and experienced no relief so I contacted the office leaving a vm with the np/nurse station. Im yet to hear back and was told by the front office the Dr. Doesnt offer anything else for pain. Its unfortunate I had faith in making this my primary provider yet I cant even get a returned call. All of this makes me believe that there is not a true passion in listening to a patient and there needs. The reason for this post is to help Others not be treated the way I was.

So my experience with this office hasnt been that great. The staff our lazy.....and they dont follow up as they should .Dr Burgess requested blood work and I saw the results returned in her app on 07/17. Today is 07/23 and still as of yet heard anything from this office..I also submitted fmla forms over a week ago called this morning and was told by the nurse Mira that the doctor hasnt filled them.out yet...Im over this place...they must realize people have choices and being lazy in a doctors office isnt something anyone will deal with lightly...if u take a test ordered by the doctor you expect to hear back in a timely fashion..

If you should EVER have blood work done at this office, make sure you tell the doctor NOT TO SEND YOUR BLOOD WORK TO NC !!!!!!!! IT COULD COST YOU BIG MONEY !!!! I received a bill for SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS !!!!! REALLY !!!!!! All she had to do was ASK ME FIRST, then allow me to make the decision. Because this was TOO MUCH, unnecessary out of pocket cost.

Good experience. Easy appointment scheduling.Short wait time in the waiting room. Dr.Burgess was very knowledgeable and provided me with good information. Staff was professional and environment was clean.
