If you can make it past scheduling and administration, Dr Gavin Brown is like a rare gem. Hes a down-to-earth, highly personable, brilliant physician. And...he listens. Trying to actually see him (or anyone else in the practice) is not for the faint hearted. I had to wait a month for my first appt. I had to wait two more weeks to get an appt with a different physician (same office) who would administer the test needed by my surgeon in order to determine treatment. [Meanwhile, Im living in debilitating pain.] I arrived for my long awaited test and I was not on their schedule. I was told to have a seat - the office mgr would come to get me in just a second. Fifteen minutes later, the mgr invited me to her office. After being interrogated about the day, time, circumstances, name of person who made the appt, none of which I kept record of or care anything about, she offered to make another appt for me. Two weeks out. Its a real shame that such great Dr.s should be so hard to get to. Dr Brown certainly deserves highest ratings.

I have been a patient of Dr. Relwanis for about 18 months. Her nurse in the office is very thorough. both she and Dr. Relwani both are good about not "fat shaming" and celebrate with me and praise me for every achievement. Dr. Relwani really knows her endocrine stuff, she recommends ways to help and suggests little changes and swaps I can make. The check in process is a little impersonal, but the front office is checking in patients for three different specialist practices and an internal medicine practice. The check out staff is thorough and they do try to work with you on setting up appointments/labs. The lab is lovely. Got me on the first stick. Even understood why I was cranky (unfed & decaffeinated diabetic) and didnt take it personally. I would recommend this practice to any one who like tech savvy. The online portal is so easy to use.

I visited Laureate in Sandy Springs last week with my mother, as she needs assistance moving around. I was handed an electronic device to fill in medical information pertaining to my mother and when I returned this device to the reception area, the attendant said thank you, and returned the device to its docking/charging station. No sanitizing was performed on this device. I did not see the attendant sanitize the device before handing it to me for use. After using, I used the sanitizer on the attendants desk, as Im congniscent of germs. Being that this is a medical office, and high flu season, Im hoping I missed something and these devices are sanitized after each patients use.

I made an appointment as a new patient one month in advance. Then I had to cancel the day before because of circumstances beyond my control. I called to cancel the day before my scheduled appointment, and the girl assured me that it was cancelled. Now 10 days later they sent me a bill for $100 and said that I was a "no show". Of course they have no record of my call, and I need a subpoena from the court to get my home phone records. The people in the Sandy Springs office are horrible. They refused to look through their phone records. I have called 4 times now to straighten this out and am next going to bill THEIR OFFICE for MY TIME!!!! Inefficiency at its best!

This is one of the worst doctors practices I have ever been to. The nurse had such an attitude, they never even took my temprature or blood pressure when I am pregnant and came in with the flu. The PA just wanted to give me meds without properly examining me. Dr. Friedman just walked it, didnt even introduce himself, and didnt even examine me and started telling me a list of medicines to take. He didnt even care that I was pregnant. I asked if he was going to take blood tests to ensure it isnt bacterial and all my levels are ok, especially because I am pregnant. Nope! He was a joke of a doctor. I would NEVER recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Utterly inept, unconscionable and unconcerned about patients. Having recently moved to Atlanta I was referred to this practice by my childs teacher. I rang the practice to ask for an appointment, was told Id need to take a physical first (despite having recently had one and having the results available) and the first available appointment was in the last week of February! I have complete medical coverage, so money/coverage isnt an issue. What if I was really sick? What if its something severe? The hippocratic oath has been abandoned here for bureacracy and BS - what a terrible place. Do not go there.

They charged us the full amount before insurance and then tried to not give us our money back once insurance covered 80% of the costs. It took SIX MONTHS to get our hundreds of dollars back from them. Their policy is to not tell you that they overcharged you and to hold the money "in your account" there "just in case" you ever go back.....if it wasnt for my husbands meticulous documentation of all our medical bills and insurance coverage we never would have caught this. This policy alone is enough to make me never want to return to this place. Shady business is not good business!

They do not sanitize the electronic check in devices. My Dr. is not very attentive. And seems to not listen to my issues instead he lectures me on what Im doing wrong. No compassion. Last time I checked in. They overlooked me and I sat in the waiting area between 30-45 minutes until this NP came into the waiting room herself looking for me.

I was 15 minutes late for my appointment because of an accident on 400 and was made to go away. Today, I was 30minutes early but havent been called more than 20minutes past my appointment time. Of course, all I got was a shrug.
