I was referred to the Avita Clinic after contacting the Georgia Crisis Line. My Wife and I on our arrival were immediately displeased with the attitudes from the front desk staff. The Front desk staff was not friendly and positive; just mediocre and apathetic. Their jaded demeanors critically crippled our first impressions of the facility. When you are a Clinic whose clientele are the mentally disabled, your primary prerogative and objective should be first to hire staff that are knowledgeable about mental health and empathetically mature enough to treat each visiter with care. Sadly, 95% of the entire staff, ranging from the front desk attendants to management, all carried themselves nonchalantly, and were blatantly rude at every encounter. If you do seek care at the Avita Clinic in Gainesville Georgia, here are a few things you can expect: 1.Nearly none of the staff will be polite to you. 2.You will have paperwork just thrust at you, and the one doing it will not introduce themselves first. 3.You will not feel like a human being while visiting this clinic, you will be treated like a burden and a dollar sign. 4.The Financial counselor will be boldly rude to you. 5. You can expect them to attempt to scam you and bill you for services and lab testing that you did not receive (Yes, they actually Billed us twice sent over a lab sample for a drug test, to Peachstate Health Labs, even though I Never submitted a urine sample while I was there. Also, I was there for mental health issues, and from my articulate and sober account of this experience, you can tell I am not a drug user.Still, Avita Clinic submitted False samples and I was billed for a Methamphetamine test I did not require. However the services I did need, I did not receive.) 6.THEY WILL BE UNPROFESSIONAL, AND YOU WILL HAVE YOUR TIME WASTED. At the end of the day, anyone in need of aid and medical care does not need stress, or to be taken advantage of. I forewarn and strongly caution against anyone going to this Clinic for any the of treatment and care. You will receive none.

my mom and grandma goes here to receave servaces. my mom gets treated poorly by her dr. and recently my feonca has been seeing them for survaces as well. he has been having trouble getting the right dignoses and on the right meds. he was also told some really nasty and harsh things by his dr about me and our baby. and she is refusing to help him get on the right meds and refuses to work with us to help us with some other things. he has been trying to see another dr but they have recently told him he cant see no one else that he has to see who he was. also they are sapost to call and let u know when ur apointments are and here the last six mons they have not called him nor my mom to remind them of their apointments. when they are confronted they tell you that it is shown on their record that someone did call and leave a message and or talked to them. if you resecdual more hten three times or miss more then two apointments you get put on walk in scedual where they will tell you to come in at seven or ten to be seen but really they just give u a card at that time telling u when the walk ins for who u are seeing starts. there for you will be setting out in the parking lot from seven till 8 when they open. and from 10 to when ever they can see you. i do not recomand them for therapy or any survaces.

they help who they want to help. ive gone by twice and got turned away. called them and they gave me different stories. one was 250.00 a session. two was 50.00 for both drug and mental health assessment. now its 288.00 for a mental health assessment. when i called not last night but the time before that they told me drug test is 50.00 but the mental health assessment is free. avita is two faced like really they cant be trusted.

Find another provider. We waited over two hours for my Son to be seen. Unprofessional Practice. Appointment times are disregarded. Evidentally understaffed and does not meet minimum expectation of services.
