Ive never experience as bad of a customer service as i did with Lawrenceville Dental Care. The front office manager is a big bully and will over charge you. She will not give you a receipt of your treatment unless you ask for it. I did a deep cleaning and was charged $180. It seemed a bit pricey and i was not gonna return again but the dental hygienist was very nice and caring and made me feel comfortable so I decided to return for the other half of my mouth to be done since you can only do one side at a time with the anesthesia. I was charged $180 again so i called my insurance and they called Lawrenceville Dental Care and the front office assistant agrees i was in fact over charged $20 and that she would put my money on the side and leave a note for me to come in. I come back several weeks later (as for i am a college student and i work so i am busy) and the front office manager was now back from her vacation and she says she reviewed my account and stated that i owe nothing. I told her that the front office assistant had made a note about it and had also spoken to my insurance. I asked her why she didnt call me to let me know i didnt owe anything so that i wouldnt waste gas and she said she didnt get instructions to do so. Frustrated, i asked to speak to the doctor and she said he was on lunch break. I come back another day to speak with Doctor Smith. I spoke to Doctor Smith and told him what the front office manager, Carolina, was doing and how she was denying my reimbursement for the overcharge. He did absolutely nothing. I went back home and immediately called my insurance to contact the Dental office. I was able to hear Carolina and my Insurance simultaneously speak while i was the third line. Carolina agrees it was 40$ over charge and asks me for my credit card number while we were all on the 3 way phone call ( me, my insurance , and Lawrenceville Dental Care) i tell her im gonna go in person to pick it up. When i drove back to Lawrenceville Dental Care, Carolina says it was actually $60 dollars over charge. I asked her why she didnt state that while on the phone with my insurance and she did not give me a straight answer. Clearly she was only going to give me 40$ over the phone but thankfully my gut feeling told me to go back in. My advice if you do go is to watch out for the front desk. Dont pay anything until you speak with your insurance and ALWAYS go in person to get the reimbursement. I had another incident in this dental office besides the over charge, the same day as the last deep cleaning i did with them. This incident happened when i left the dental office and went back home (according to them). I received a call from the dental office stating that one of their staff got workers comp due to an injury that happened after i left. They made it seem like i needed to act immediately so i followed all of their instructions in order to help them out. I went out of my way with my busy school and WORK schedule to follow their requests that same day. It took over 3 hours for me to finish what they had requested for me to do so i am really unhappy on how Dr. Smith handled the situation. He does not make you feel valued as a patient and does not value your time. I didnt even get a thank you call from them a week after the incident. I feel deceived by the front desk and uncared for by my doctor.

This is one of the best dental offices around! Everyone is very polite and treats you as if they already know you. Dr. Smith is one of a kind and handled all of my dental treatments in a very timely manner. The fact that I can go into this dental facility without a doubt in my mine of course they are #1 on my list!!!!
