My Turkish Angora was precious to us as well as CFA certifed valuable specimen of his breed. All white with deep blue eyes, he astonished anyone who saw him. At 5 years old (2005) I have moved his records from Sandy Springs Animal Hospital to Dr. Merck on recomendation that such a fine feline would only be served right by the best vet available. I now understand that she left after our 1st year there. In the (5) years that he has been taken care of by CCR, I saw the status change from caring for Cats to $$ signs in the eyes. Every visit cost me $200+, which was not the issue as long as my beloved Snowy got the best care. Our last visit was end of June, 2010. He was given a perfect bill of health. All vaxs were up to date. They even gave him a lion-cut with grooming. His paws, nose and ears were pinky pink, his eyes were deep blue. I trusted CCR with all my heart. On July 5, 2010 Snowflake had a hearth attack. He was immediately moved to Dekalb Emergency Clinic, at which Dr. Davis managed to save him. He was diagonsed with a long coming heart condition, which he had for years. Should he have been diagones on time and properly. He would not have had this attack. His condition left him with 50% dead heart muscle and two hind legs paralyzed. At this time, I moved him to my good friend and caretaker of my two Cavalier King Charleses Dr. Clay Allan of Cherishire Bridge Animal Clinic. We have researched all options including, amputation of the two hind legs. But, the Congestive Heart Failure (of half dead heart muscle) had taken over his health. My Snowy, slowly lost all pink and became all white. His hind legs started developing cangrene. As he could no longer move but, was on diuretics, we had to constantly clean him, hand feed him and care for him. Which, I definately did not mind. I dropped every activity and my architectural work to care for him. But, in (5) days time he became very sad, turning his head always, and moaning with pain. Dr. Allan felt, only humane thing to do was to left him die in peace. I am so sad, and so angry. He gave me 10+ years of his life only to die of missed diagnosys. If he was human, CCR would face liability. Now, they will keep giving bad services with nothing but $$$ signs in their eyes. My Snowy died July 12, 2010. Less than 30 days after, he was given full clean bill of health (except some tooth cleaning) by these un-humane doctors. AVOID AT ALL COST. If you love or care for your cat. They will kill him. Learn from my mistake...

Dr. Ray was great with my cat. She was sick and he saw her first thing in the morning last week. She needed surgery and he did it that day. It was not a minor surgery and he did a fantastic job. She had almost 20 teeth extracted and his pain management was so good she was eating that night and the next day. She has not shown one sign of discomfort or pain. He also spent over and hour in the exam room talking to me about behavior problems with not only her but my other cat as well. He had so many hints and tips that I have never heard before and they have all been so helpful. I have asked more then a couple of other veterinarians about these problems and they had suggestions but none of them were helpful. Its not that they are bad veterinarians but Dr. Ray specializes in cats so he knows more about feline specific behavior problems than your average vet. My cat is very nervous anytime I bring her to the vet but not there. She doesnt just cower in my lap like usual. She is comfortable enough to come out of her carrier on her own and walk around the exam room on her own. She has never done that before and she has only been to the Cat Clinic of Roswell twice. His approach to her was amazing and he made her so calm. If cats had a choice Im sure they would all choose to go to the Cat Clinic. Not to mention the cute building in Historic Roswell that has been designed just for the cats.

Anyone whos ever had surgery done on a pet or themselves knows that you do not put someone under general anesthesia if theyve just eaten. I didnt even take my cat in for surgery; I took her to the Cat Clinic for a 2nd opinion. When the vet asked about her eating, I told him she was eating very well, and had eaten breakfast just a couple of hours before we arrived. He wanted to see her eat,so brought in a can and she ate the whole thing. He said he wanted to run some tests and asked me to leave her. A few hours later, the clinic called to say she was dead. The vet explained that he had put her under, and she choked to death on her vomit. I was distraught, but she was dead and nothing I could do would bring her back, so I decided to move on. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for over $800 a couple of weeks later! Assuming it was an error, I called and told them. They said theyd look into it. I didnt get another bill. It has now been 5 years and recently it has appeared on my credit report as a $1200 bill that is now in collection!! He and his clinic have now moved beyond incompetence into sadistically cruel business practices.

Dr. Ray is an amazing veterinarian who truly cares about cats (and their people). Weve been taking one of our kitties there for a few years (hes a senior kitty with a few heath problems) and very recently we lost our other kitty. It was heartbreaking and I know the staff at CCR did everything they could to save him and keep him happy and comfortable, but even if we had known weeks earlier what was wrong (before he showed symptoms) I think we only could have given him a little extra time. I would absolutely recommend this practice if you want expert care for your kitties, especially senior cats who need extra care. As others have pointed out, its not the least expensive place to get cats treated, but the level of quality is worth it, in my opinion. I know that my cats are in the best hands when theyre with Dr. Ray.

Took my cat here for observation for 4 hours until he could go back to the Urgent Care facility I had to take him to late at night. Paid $250. Cat had an Elizabethan cone on when I brought him in due to having a urinary catheter in. When they bring my cat out (after I paid) cone is off and the nurse informs me the cat ripped out the catheter. All the staff had to do was take the cone off to feed him and then put the cone back on. Now going to be forced to pay another $300+ To have first facility put another catheter in. Complete incompetence that doesnt cost them a dime, cut costs me hundreds of dollars. Will not be bringing my cat here again.

Dr. Ray has been working with our senior cat for 3 years now. He and his team have been second to none! He diagnosed GI cancer in our cat, Charlie, that two other vets failed to see. He treats the cause, not just the symptoms. We now drive over 50 miles for our cat care, because we know Dr. Ray is knowledgeable, fair priced, and treats both our cats with utmost care! The best cat doctor we have been to!
