This is the worst place to take your animal. I wish this would let me remove the star. I first went to this place my dog was very healthy and happy. Three months later I found myself there being pushed into putting him down. They sold me a wellness package that included a dental cleaning. $500 dollars later they had pulled several teeth. While doing this all of the pieces did not get removed and one of the pieces worked its was into his sinus cavity causing a tumor which ruptured. When I first noticed something was wrong I took him back and the vet on duty make me feel as if it was my fault because I hadnt gotten the follow up shot for the dog flue. From November to February I was in their office almost every week having test after test done in total I spent well over $2000. The day I had to put him down because they couldnt stop the bleeding the same vet basically told me because I didnt have $3000 there was no reason to take him to the emergency veterinarian (which by the way they arent) and I really had no other choice. I was in shock and didnt realize the main reason they didnt want me to take him else where was because of the money. Upon getting ready to leave that heart breaking day I inquired about stopping the wellness plan and was told I still owed them well over $1000 so I still have to pay. After two months I have finally decided that I will be getting an attorney and suing them for wrongful death and mental suffering. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE EVERY!!!!

I have had two dogs as patients at this facility for the last 9-11 years. First few years were excellent. Last couple have been ok but I defiantly noticed a change. Last month my wife and I adopted a new puppy. After going to the facility for shots etc she came to me and said that she was very unhappy and that we should start looking for a new vet. I told her had to have just been a bad day for the practice and cut them some slack. Wellllllll they finally lost us for good. It came time to get the new puppy fixed. Being budget conscious folks we wanted an approximate idea of how much it was cost. My wife was informed that 1. they would not give us an estimate over the phone and that 2. We were required to come in for an office visit before they could provide us a quote. I have been a pet owner for over 25 years and this is the first I have heard of this so again I assured my wife it must have been the person she spoke with so I called and left a message for the office manager. No return call. We call today and ask to speak with the vet. Again no return call. VCA Roswell I hope you read this because you have lost our family for good.

Feel we paid too much money for sub-par service and assumed diagnoses. The one star is for the vet, she was great overall. Unfortunately, the rest of her staff was not. We greatly appreciated the follow-up call to check on our black lab. However, she asked us if we have considered the "e"word (her exact words) regarding euthanasia. Although our dog is about 11 years old she is very active and healthy and we found this completely inappropriate. Especially considering her approach at the conversation even if that was a need to consider. The receptionists seem tired and uninterested and just want to collect your funds as quickly as possible... funds and fees that seem to be way too high for the area of town, the facility and overall service provided. One thing they do in fact do well is up-sell you every chance they get for more services and unnecessary procedures. This facility is your typical, corporate run vet clinic (VCA) concerned more about making money than truly caring for your pet and offering affordable/kind solutions for the health of your loved ones.

We have gone to this vet for 2 years after moving to Roswell. The facility is old, dirty and overpriced but I looked beyond that because of its convenience and because we were new to the area. Recently, we had to board our dog over the holidays and scheduled boarding and grooming. You pay for everything before they bring your animal out. Once we got him, I noticed he hadnt been groomed. I was told they were busy and they overscheduled. When we brought him back in to redo what we had already paid for, they refused to give any sort of discount to remedy the situation. I paid AGAIN to have him "groomed" and then decided we would never be back here again. Our dog is a nervous wreck boarding here and if they care so little about customer experience, imagine how they care for your animal. I had recommended them to our new neighbors but immediately texted them that we were changing.

The staff is friendly, though the receptionist wasnt much help the morning I brought in a stray cat I planned on taking in. For a full exam, eye medicine and ear mite medicine I paid about $400.00. I called this morning because I desperately need this cat neutered (he started spraying everywhere when confronted with my current cat. It was clearly territory issues). They charge $217.00 to neuter a male cat. Are you serious? No really, are you serious? That is absolutely absurd. They stated it was due to the blood work needed (even though he JUST got blood work a week ago) and for the anesthesia etc. How do you justify that kind of money? I mean like I said the staff was nice but I cant believe their prices. I will not be going back. The Humane Society (while you have to wait a number of weeks to get in) only charges $20.00. Not everyone is made of money in this area.

I dont know whats up with all of these bad reviews. I have never had a problem here and find the staff friendly and helpful. They all know my dog by name and come out to say hello to him whenever we come by. Sure, Ive had a couple of bills that were more expensive than I would have liked but from what I understand, vet visits are pretty expensive. I have even brought my dog in several times as a walk-in to get his nails trimmed and they are happy to accommodate me. Theyre also more than willing to price match on medications, which means I save close to $80 when buying my dogs flea/heartworm prevatatives. Im a student and the vets are more than willing to work with me on cost; she even gave me her email so that I could email her pictures of or questions about any issues I may have to avoid a pricey visit unless absolutely necessary.

I cannot thank Dr Katz enough for his recent kindness and understanding. We are new to the area and needed a veterinarian to care for our four rescue cats. Unfortunately our first visit was not a happy one for us, as the time had come to say goodbye to our eldest girl. Dr Katz was more than understanding, helping us to accept the decision that we knew we had to make. All of the staff were supportive and respectful for our loss. His knowledge and treatment of our other girls makes it an easy decision for us. I am very confident to place the health care of my precious family in his very capable hands, SM>BERRYMAN
