Please do not expect for the owner of this business to address any concerns you may have with their services. I took my dog in because she was exhibiting signs of a full anal gland. She was in pain and would not stand up on her back legs. I took my dog in for a tech visit and the technicians basically stood in front of me and fought over who didnt want to do it. Can you imagine your dog is in pain and you take them in to relieve them of their pain, and to see the staff that is paid to do the service, literally pass it on over and over again, in front of you? I went through 3 technicians before someone actually came out to take my dog back. What made it worse was an employee (Margie) who witness the incident, comes over to me and sit beside me to tell me how great the place is, and how caring the employees are. It was such an insult to have witness what I saw and then for someone to insult my intelligence by trying to make me believe I didnt see what I saw. I told her before bringing my dog by, I read reviews about the facility going downhill, but I brought my dog due to not just listening to reviews but from what I experienced, I had to agree. She went on to tell me, the facility is not going downhill. It was clear that the employee was not about the concerns and treatment of the patient, she was not about to see the situation through the lens of a patient but through the biasness of an employee. What made things worst was that by the time a technician finally volunteered to take her back, I was told I would have to wait in the waiting area. I have been to this vet many times before and I was NEVER asked to sit in the waiting area while they tended to my dog. Now, you as a owner, imagine for a moment, you witnessed the passing on of no one wanting to take care of your pet and then finally someone takes her and say they are going to do it, but behind close doors, would you not feel nervous of the whole idea? Are they going to really do it? Will they be rough with her and hurt her seeing that no one wanted to do it in the first place? Will they cause my dog more pain? When they came out with her, they all did this song and dance of how good she was, laughing with her, rubbing her, all smiles and everything is great. I left with my dog only concern with her relief of pain and when I got home and really thought through the whole situation, I decided to call the office and leave my information for the owner of the facility(Dr. Michelle Tilghman) to give me a call. When I called and gave my information to an employee and reiterated my concern, I was told that the owner was made aware of the incident. Well, Do you know it has been over two weeks and no one called me from the office? This is why I say on this review do not expect for any concern you may have to be handled, because I presented my concern about the unprofessional behavior of the staff at a time when I was already dealing with my concerns for my dog and no one called me back. All I wanted to hear was a simple, " We apologize for what you experienced, you should not have experience what you went through and we take these type of issues, seriously." It would have made a world of difference.

Dr. Michele is a very wonderful and caring holistic vet. We brought our dog Jedd in to see her after our current vet treated him with little success. We felt he was misdiagnosed by our vet. Our vet told us he had HOD and needed to be hit with massive doses of steroids. We started the treatment only to see him turn into a little holy terror. IT WAS NOT GOOD!!!......Loving Care, after our research, we learned that DR. Michele specializes in the treatment of HOD. Come to find out that he did not have the disease.......it was from rapid growth and having been hit with his second round of puppy shots along with heart guard and flea treatment sending him into shock, high fever (104) and he passed out after four days of receiving all that medication. She told us to step back and slowly ween him off of steroids, slow his growth down (he gained 3 lbs in less than a week partly due to the higher than high protein in puppy food)and put him on a nourishing diet of low protein dog food (we chose frozen bil-jac as that food did well for our four greyhounds) mixed with steamed green veggies, squash, carrots....... bone broth, sardines, hard boiled eggs, blueberries, She gave him a vitamin b12 shot and some Chinese herbs for inflammation ...After about a week our new 4 month old Bluetick Coonhound is back to being a normal puppy and our little man, from now on, is in DR. Micheles care. I dont understand why other vets dont think outside the box....... what Dr.Michele told us made perfect sense after weighing in on what she presented to us. After Jedds two week follow up visit he now has a clean bill of health and we are also going to put our other dogs on the same feeding plan that she gave us for Jedd. Thanks Loving Care The Keiser family

They used to be great, and it pains me to have to write this review. However, the people who made it great no longer work there, and the loss of Dr. Kevin Brantly was the final nail in the coffin. Here is a prim example of the poor quality of care you can expect from this practice. We had rescued a kitten and took it to LT for the initial examination. The day before his follow-up he developed an upper respiratory tract infection with a high fever and complete loss of appetite. LT couldnt see him that morning, I had an unavoidable legal obligation that afternoon, and there is no way I could drop him off and leave. So, I begged them to phone in a 1 day supply of antibiotic so as not to delay therapy, and I would bring him in the next day. I was told by this very belligerent tech, Matthew, that it was against the law to do that, that he would go to jail. True, a tech cant prescribe, but then he stated that by law the vet couldnt either. This is a complete and total lie. As long as there is an established and current relationship with the practice, then the vet can prescribe without immediately seeing the patient. When I tried to bring these facts to Matthews attention, he continually interrupted me and eventually disconnected. Its obvious that LT only cares about getting as much money as they can instead of the health and welfare of their patients. Good thing Gwinnett Animal Hospital is around. They could see my kitten immediately, and he was 100% better within 24 hours. My advice is to avoid Loving Touch, if you value your pets health, and go to Gwinnett Animal Hospital.

Loving touch use to be great but since they moved to stone Mountain the service has really changed. Matthew is the only bright point there. He helps he explains and you can tell its not a show so....We started water therapy and after I woke up the tech she seemed annoyed nothing wrong with sleeping when theres nothing to do but if theres a patient presents then you got to do your job I had to tell the tech to go into the water therapy treadmill. She kept on saying he will work it out I said no you need to get in there she went in and that was the last water therapy we ever got . So we tried the other side because we heard of a " special shots " the shot worked great but on The last occasion we took six shots home it was not the regular shot it was a clear liquid all the previous shots had a yellow hue so clearly they changed the shot. When we brought this up with the staff they were clearly upset and said that we did not know what we were talking about its the same shot but it wasnt so we stopped the "shots" recently we did a bi-yearly check up after doing some blood work turns out my Little guy is started to have kidney issues out of nowhere. Im not saying the shot hurt him but its funny that the timeline shows before he started the shots he had normal kidney values as hes on the shot his kidney values started to deteriorate keep in mind all this while on the shot. I wanted to see if they still administer the shot but was told we cannot longer get the shot.....pretty weird anyone else started the shot and seen similar issues ?
