I initially went to her office for a routine annual exam. My first visit I was a little uncomfortable because of the office environment. There was no privacy when you checked in and no privacy when you were called back for your visit and none when you checked out. If there were any type of procedures that was needed or prescription that you needed everyone in the lobby could here what was going on with you. The reason why I am totally dissatisfied with the care I received from her is I feel I was being taken advantage of when it came to my health care. I had a abnormal pap and she did a biopsy. Thankfully the biopsy came back negative for cancer. She gave me options to choose to remove the abnormal cells and I chose the option that was the most effective base on the information she provided to me. When I went to set up my appointment for the procedure that I chose she then reviewed my records again on that day. She realized and stated based on the minor severity of my cells she recommended I have a less minor procedure. I had the procedure she recommended and months later had another pap done. My pap came back normal thankfully. During that same office visit when she gave me the results she implied that during the initial biopsy she may not have given enough tissue to determine accurate results. She suggested I go through another procedure that required me to have a outpatient procedure in the hospital. That did not sit well with me so I talked to my primary care physician about my concerns because what she told me did not make sense to me. I decided to get a second opinion and see another doctor and explain my situation with Dr. Sylvia. I had another pap 7 months later and it came back normal again. My new doctor has no reason for me have any other procedures because of prior abnormal paps. Through my experiences with Dr. Sylvia I believe she was encouraging me to go through medical procedures I truly DID NOT NEED. It would have cost me over a thousand dollars of out of pocket expenses for that procedure. I am so happy that I went with my instincts and did not have that unnecessary procedure she suggested. I would not recommend her to anyone of my friends.

A warning to everyone: Do not go to the Maternal & Family Medicine Womens Health Keepers office on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Theyre nothing but a group of ruthless, lying scoundrels disguised as physicians and nurses who are only after financial gains rather than taking proper care of their patients. My mom has gone through so many unnecessary tests, scans, treatments, etc, and Im 100% done with all of it. Questions asked are redirected into bullshit thats been repeated already, and they dont have clear reasoning as to why they do the treatments that they do. Go to a different doctor; this one is absolutely not worth your time or money. Pass this message along to anyone looking for a doctor; these spawns of Satan need to scram.

My wife is new to the USA, so she didnt have an OB/GYN at the time we visited. I figured since this was the closest place to where we lived it would be a good place to start. Anyways, my wife is pregnant, and we knew that going to the doctor, we just wanted to make sure everything is ok. The first thing they asked my wife is if she wanted to keep the baby or kill it. Unacceptable. Anyways, the first visit ended up costing us over $200, plus another $500 in bills from the insurance, and after all the that, "Dr" Sylvia doesnt take of patients who are pregnant. Why did we go there? No idea.

Awesome Experience!!! Its hard to find a good doctor that will actually take the time to explain the issues with your body!!! I was seen on time and she was very polite and pleasant and mad me feel comfortable. I didnt mind the test that were ran. I feel that knowledge is key. I believe that people today want an in and out doctor or they feel they can diagnose themselves. wrong wrong wrong!! Dr. Sylvia has so much knowledge and experience I recommend her and this practice!!

Called three times within a 6month period and never received a phone call back. During my visit, she did not make me feel comfortable as other gynecologist have. She tried to make me come back so that I would pay more money for visits, stating that I needed surgery. I didnt need surgery according from the doctor at my school where I received second opinion. Do not go here. You can find a facility that will care for you and not try to cheat you out of your money.

I specifically advised when I made my initial pregnancy appointment that I was looking for an OBGYN as my gyn didnt do obstetrics. I was booked an appointment and once there it was a very unprofessional environment and staff, looks like a wood cabin on the inside. And when being examined was told Sylvia was NOT an OB and didnt do obstetrics. Why then, was I there? I was beside myself. Also received no referrals to an obstetrician as promised.

WARNING. This office is a RIP-OFF place. I came in for a small problem, she didnt spend much time seeing me, in and out in 5 minutes. Then she sent my sample off to get 31 unnecessary laboratory tests done for my problem that just needed anitbiotic. Now im stuck with a $400.00 bill.
