My daughter needed surgery and we saw Dr. R as a second consult because she is near my home. She tried to convince us that my daughter being in pain was normal and that she probably would be ok. I SPECIFICALLY asked when I booked the appointment why they didnt prescribe birth control and was told it was because they were a progressive office who believed that the hormonal birth control was dangerous in the long term. The truth is that she is an ultra conservative Catholic and her office is full of abstinence only and natural family planning leaflets and she is believes that women are on this earth to procreate. And we booked the first available appointment in the morning only to sit and wait for over an hour while my daughter missed school. Total waste of time and money. It should be illegal to not disclose that you are a religious based practice before an appointment is booked.

Shes the best. I have to come in more than most people so having an amazing doctor has been very vital. She is so there for you and remembers exactly everything going on. Shes super helpful and takes her time talking to each patient. If you leave confused, its your own fault because she keeps the dialog open and you dont feel rushed at all. My appointments usually dont start on time but thats because shes taking her time with her patients, and Im ok with that. Cause I know probably the person after me will wait because shes helping me understand everything. So thats just the price you pay for such special attention. Totally worth it. Love her.

I traveled all the way from Birmingham, AL to see Dr. Raviele--and it was completely worth it. Everyone was caring and helpful, and Dr. Raviele made it clear shes interested in the whole person and not just her particular specialty. I can understand why Im not the only one (I learned) who travels from out-of-state to see her. Re: the review from Alexander. I can only wonder why a man was so insistent on speaking to a nurse at a gynecologists office--I dont think were getting the full story.

Dr. Ravielle has been my gynocologist for over 20 years. She is an excellent doctor and a person of integrity and strong values. The office staff is professional and courteous. I am grateful to have her guiding my health needs.
