Absolutely awful! His staff is unorganized and very unprofessional. You sit in the lobby for well over an hour before being brought back, and then if he has to leave for delivery NOBODY TELLS YOU!! You are left to sit in a room or the lobby for hours with no explanation and no knowledge of where the doctor is or whats taking so long while the staff sits at the desk gossiping and cussing. While the doctor is a fairly personable person, he does not ask you if you have any questions, there are no explanations given for anything to a first time mom, and when he is done he just walks out of the room without letting you know, so youre just left to assume that the appointment is over and go up front to check out. When I requested a prescription for my breast pump (because my insurance requires a prescription in order to cover) I was told it would be written and sent by the end of the day. I called the medical supplier the next day to double check, because I had been told before that something would be done within a certain amount of time and it wasnt, they had never sent the prescription. When I called the doctors office to ask about it i was met with "well it will take a few days because the nurse has other prescriptions to write first and that since I was only 34 weeks that we had plenty of time to take care of it anyway. Among the other issues I had with this office I decided to transfer doctors at a late period in my pregnancy, and even having copies of my records sent proved to be difficult as they took 3 days to send them, something that would have taken less than 5 minutes to do. Then they only sent a portion, and when I called about it, I was met with even more rude, short behavior, as well as being talked over instead of being allowed to finish what I was saying. I DO NOT SUGGEST ANYONE USE THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far I have had no problems with him other than finding his building but he seems nice and careing and very busy from what most say about him and his staff he could probably use better well managed staff so that when hes busy with his patients delivering he dont look like he deserted everyone but if this is your first pregnancy you should know this is normal for the most part after all you may have a due date but babies come when they are good and ready too it could be a week before or after your due date so its not like he can schedule and promise a patient wont be in delivery that day its not a regular check up from your doctor this is a doctor who waits for you to start crowning and helps you bring your little one into the world my first one took 13 hours to get her so be patient and try to be understanding

Dr. Nova is more concerned with ensuring he isnt held liable for retrograde decisions than he is for his patients quality of life. He doesnt care about you as an individual--he cares about making sure he wont be sued at a later date for you changing your mind concerning a major surgery that will prevent you from throwing up everyday, feeling dizzy, and being in severe pain. He is completely unprofessional and avoided talking to me over the phone or seeing me in person for 2.5 weeks--mind you, 17 days of constant pain and rarely being able to leave my house--because he allowed his religious beliefs to make an impact on my life and my choices. Dr. Nova does not view patients as being autonomous and does not care about what is best for YOU.

Worst doctor ever! I was transferred to him from the birth cottage to deliver my baby. He does NOT care about you as a patient. He catches an attitude if you ask him a question. He kept telling me "hurry up and make a decision, my mom is in the ICU." He also said, "I didnt ask you to come here; I didnt even know your name before today." Someone needs to investigate this guy and get his medical license taken away. When i was in triage, another patient was refusing to be helped by Dr Nova and mentioned that he has some kind of malpractice lawsuit taking place and that he was fired from another facility. Thankfully I knew another doctor at CRMC and she, Dr Bryant, was able to deliver my baby. I love her.
