Terrible. I had posted an honest review of my experience a month ago and Im assuming they flagged it to have it removed. A few days ago I received a letter from their office essentially firing me as a patient because I wasnt satisfied instead of reaching out to try and rectify the situation. No professionalism. So, if you leave a review, dont mention names. We discovered we were pregnant last June, and I figured TMH would be the right choice in an OB. I went in, they did the preliminary tests (BP, weight, urine) and I see her walk up to the nurse beside me and get really nasty with the nurse about taking too many patients. I was astounded. She doesnt want to be there, and I dont think any of the others do either. My first appointment was in July and I saw her for the PAP and pregnancy verification, but that was the only time I saw her in the entire pregnancy. During the course of the pregnancy, they noticed my bloodpressure going up and I told them I have severe anxiety in doctors offices which made it high. The midwife I had saw that and started me on Aldomet such is a safe blood pressure medicine for pregnancy. The only pills I was taking at the time were prenatal vitamins. It was going down slightly, and I had to keep reminding them to take my BP again, that it would be down. Throughout the course of the pregnancy, I noticed my drug regimen increasing. She said my bp was too high, so I took more medicine to protect my little girl. I went from 250mg twice per day to 500mg four times per day. The delivery of my daughter was a traumatic experience. I wanted the epidural, and was aware that it may not work. I kept hitting the button for medicine, but I felt everything. They didnt believe that. I was screaming and they kept telling me to be quiet. Who tells that to a woman giving birth? I was not prepared to see that the epidural was inserted wrong and when the nurse took it out the needle looked like a slinky and I knew something wasnt right by the look on her face. After the delivery, I got up and lost hearing in my left ear, I figured it was normal, and I went to recovery. My blood pressure shot up the next day in the hospital, so they upped my medicine, and added Labetalol which is a beta blocker usually prescribed to people who have had strokes and heart attacks. I took it without question because I trusted my doctors. Within an hour the side effects were so bad I couldnt walk, my vision was off, heart was racing, scalp was tingling, I was dizzy, chills and shivering, and i couldnt even brush my hair without getting tired. No one warned of the side effects. ALL WITH A NEWBORN! I thought i was dying and going insane. I kept telling them something was wrong, but they shrugged me off and said I probably had allergies then prescribed me ZOLOFT because they thought I had the baby blues. Went to my primary and he was shocked and disgusted with the amount of medication Im on at 32. Never being on any before. If you ladies have high bp during pregnancy. Question everything they do. Research before you agree to take medicine.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Forsthoefel for over 20 years. She took care of me when I had cervical cancer in my 20s and delivered my first born as an emergency C-section in my 30s. My daughter had gotten stuck and she tried to rotate her and get her unstuck. It was extremely painful as I had opted for no epidural. But I do not blame the doctor for that. She tried everything and then when it didnt work, got me into OR within 30 minutes and both baby and mama were fine. That is a success story and truly appreciate Dr. Forsthoefels experience, quickness and decision-making. For those that need a real southern doctor that sweet talks you, then Dr. F might not be right for you. She is very straightforward and I suppose can sometimes rub those that are not used to it the wrong way. She cares about the end result of a healthy mama and baby. She also let me try for a V-back for my second baby. Most OBs will not. (Please note that this was 9 years ago, so they may not do this anymore.) However, under the close watch of the midwives and nurses it became apparent that I needed a c-section. But it wasnt an emergency like the first and was a wonderful, even if it could have been scary, experience. Dr. Ramsey ended up delivering and he was an expert doctor. Let me be honest here - the actions of the midwives, nurses and doctors that day saved my baby boys life. I didnt really realize how critical it was until getting an update on what was really happening in that delivery room, medically-speaking. Soon after my successful delivery, a friend of mine went through a similar experience (v-back, problems arising during delivery, etc) which unfortunately did not turn out well and she lost her baby. So, yes, while the other doctors bedside manner was impeccable and everything seemed hunky dory, poor decision-making led to tragic results. Ill take healthy baby (experience and results-focused) over bedside manners any day!

Literally a waste of time and money. Dr White should be fired for her awful services. I waited almost an hour and a half to be seen only to be told that I didnt need a biopsy while she rushed through my appointment and didnt even bother to check for my birth control like she was supposed to. Tried to get my copay back and the director/manager or whoever she was was rude as hell. They said they changed my doctor and basically dropped me as a patient rather than returning my phone calls. Whats sad is that my mom and her best friend are compliance officers and theyre taking this all the way to the top because the director chose the doctors word over mine. Wouldnt reccomend that place to my worst enemy. Deserves 0 stars.

I was a scared 16yr old girl 12 years ago and Doctor Forsthoffle and the midwives were amazing! I had an emergency csection and they made it all very comfortable. 6 years later I had my 2nd daughter with them and again amazing treatment but what has truly made me love them is a year ago when I miscarried they called and checked on me were very caring and sympathetic to what was happening. Now I am expecting a baby boy in May and I honestly can say I would not want to go to any other office. They treat you like more than a patient and ask about your babies no matter how old they are. I absolutely love this office and everyone in it!

Stay away. The doctor lacks any empathy for human beings and one of her midwives is a pill pusher. They ended up putting my wife on 3 different meds, totaling about 2500mg/day, which had bad side effects and then refused to take her off of them and instead prescribed her more meds. Went to a primary and he was astounded at the amount of medicine they gave her. Maybe its about which doctor/midwife you get because others have nice things to say.
