I do not recommend Dr. Pope. She has a curt bedside manner, was impatient, and wanted to push surgery for a simple procedure of an IUD removal. I went in to her twice for this procedure (second one for an ultrasound) and she would not make an attempt to remove it even after seeing it was in place, rather she insisted I needed an expensive surgery, under anesthesia at the hospital. Needless to say, I got a second opinion and went to another doctor who removed the IUD manually within a matter of seconds. No expensive surgery necessary. I even asked Dr. Pope to attempt a removal and she refused. I guess she gets paid a lot more for surgery than a simple in office procedure. I had to pay a third office visit and go to another doctor, spending $60 each time. Popes office incorrectly billed my insurance and I was owed a $60 credit for the first visit. I only found out because I called my insurance and they told me so. I am still waiting on a refund even though I brought this to their attention over a month ago. Her office refused to pay me back for the second visit even though Dr. Pope did not perform her duties. If you need an IUD removed, or good OBGYN, go see Dr. James or the midwifes at Intown Midwifery instead.

Dr. Pope knows her stuff, theres NO denying that. Shes a brilliant OB! She diagnosed something I had been suffering with for 10 yrs at other OBs with no answers. Now, shes a little rough around the edges, but thats just her personality. Shes not the "hold my hand, break it to me easily, kiss my forehead" type of Dr. (not that theres anything wrong with that, I prefer "motherly, nice & sweet" actually). But thats just not her style. I respect her wisdom, expertise and MANY years of experience though. So shes awesome in my book! The office is always very clean with SUPER short wait times. Its quiet and the staff are the sweetest/most professional ppl you will EVER meet.

I have been with Perimeter ob/gyn for awhile now and have never had an issue. In fact, the staff is wonderful and Dr. Pancer is an excellent doctor. I had some concerns and made the first available appointment, with Dr. Pope. Her tone with me was condescending and just rude. I was scheduled for a follow up and thought Id give her another chance...we all have bad days. She still has not been able to diagnose what the problem is and the two times I have seen her I have walked away in tears or just angry. When I asked a question her response was "your body isnt cooperating now is it?" This is not the first rude thing she has said to me but it will be the last.

I have been going to Dr. Pope for close to 10 years now (maybe longer). I think she is a great doctor! She is always open and honest with me and doesnt sugar coat things, which I like. She spends an ample amount of time with me both before and after my exam making sure she has the latest info on my health over the past year. Dr. Pope always makes sure she answers any questions or concerns that I have. I find her bedside manner great and I am thankful I have found such a great OBGYN! I highly recommend her!

Horrible , Horrible . Unfortunately she was my labor and delivery doctor. She gave me a weird feeling as soon as I met her . She doesnt have a warm personality at all. She was rude . When I would ask questions she would have a smart answer. She was impatient. She spoke like she was ready to go home . If she is ever on call while Im in labor again I will not deliver my baby at the hospital . She let me tear instead of cutting me . She was not informative. She was so horrible I had to write a review on her .

Excellent DR! I have been going to DR Pope for 10 years and have always been treated professionally. I have been to 3 other obgyns before finding DR Pope and she is by far the best. At her clinic, I feel like a person and not a number. I also trust in her skill and experiance that if there is ever an issue, she will find it and know exactly what to do. I would highly recommend Dr Leslie Pope.

If you want warm and fuzzy, you might not get this from Dr. Pope; but if you want a knowledgeable doctor to take care of you medically, then shes the one. She fusses at me because I usually dont go for an "annual" exam but every two years, but I dont mind the fussing. It shows she cares. I think shes a well-seasoned doctor and she knows what shes doing.

Go to another doctor. Dr. Pope is impatient, condescending, and rude. As a first time patient, she didnt even give me time to ask questions about my condition and she left the room without even saying goodbye. She has horrible bedside manners. I was so friendly and polite, but she truly made me feel horrible. I will never go back.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Pope for 22 years. She treated me through two pregnancies and deliveries, and in routine care ever since. She is honest and direct but also funny and caring. You can feel comfortable talking with her about anything that affects your health.

Do not go to this doctor, she has the most terrible bedside manners and comes across as judgmental and condescending. For someone that seems to be an outlier herself she should be more tolerant of those different from her. Run, dont walk.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Popes for 26 years. She has taken extremely good care of me during pregnancies and afterward. She motivated me to lose weight. Shes led me through menopause. Shes a skilled surgeon and a very trusted doctor.

Dr. Pope has awful bedside manners and made me cry during my visit. Do not go to this woman unless you want someone judgmental and old fashioned. The rest of the staff, however, was extremely kind and wonderful.
