First of all, Ive had a pretty bad & pretty good experience here. Ive rated it 5 stars because I feel that they corrected their mistake and will now continue to see specific doctors only (Dr. Sharon, Dr. Wooten & Midwife Bedell). Anyway, I was originally referred to them by the ER as they were the on call obgyn at Northside while I was going through a missed miscarriage. I just moved from TX and was having a hard time finding a GOOD & PROFESSIONAL practice. I had a horrible experience at my previous GA OBGYN, so when I ended up at Northside ER I asked for whatever obgyn was on call & NOT to contact my previous OBGYN. Obgyn of Atlanta was on call so I continued with them after I was released. After 4 failed doses of Cytotec with the previous practice, OBGYN of Atlanta decided a D&C was the next option. I agreed. They scheduled me the following day with one of the physicians (whose name that I will not mention in order to not hurt her professional credibility). The D&C was on a Friday with said physician was unsuccessful and I was still completely "filled with blood and clots" post-op. I felt physically ill and called the office first thing Monday morning telling them I still felt everything was inside. They immediately scheduled me for an ultrasound and confirmed the D&C was not done successfully and my HCG was still in the 2000s, meaning there was also still retained tissue. That was my bad experience with that office, which I feel I can avoid by not seeing that Doctor again and being very selective. I was obviously a complete wreck since I was physically and emotionally exhausted for trying to complete the miscarriage for 2 weeks at that point. I finally got in with Doctor Wooten who informed me a repeat D&C with ultrasound guidance was the next step, but his schedule was booked solid. I ended up booking it the next morning with Doctor Sharon, who was highly recommended. I was terrified it would be another fail and couldnt believe I was going under anesthesia for a second time in a week for a procedure that shouldve been successful the first time. From what Ive heard, its very uncommon for this complication to occur. Anyway, Im SO happy I stuck with my gut feeling and stayed with Dr. Sharon (and dr Wooten). Its now 1 day post repeat D&C and I feel a thousand percent better. Im still cautiously optimistic due to how many complications arose, but I feel for the first time in a month that I may be near the end of this nightmare, for which Im very grateful. Theres still a possibility that I may need to take another step in completing this, but I feel Im finally in good hands. My only other complaint is Ive had a very difficult time getting medications filled without a complication (office never sent them in, sent the wrong one in, etc). It was always corrected, but it was a headache to deal with. Just a heads up too.. I also had a very long wait for Dr. Wooten, but that is in no way a deal breaker because hes actually worth the wait. When it comes to health, Id rather have to wait for a great doctor to do things right. So theres my honest review. I would absolutely recommend this office, I just advise you do your research on which physician to see. There are some fantastic doctors at this practice and I feel very safe going back to the specific ones I had mentioned above. I feel like I finally found "my obgyn" which is a big deal when youve been through 3 miscarriages and want a professional office to handle your case. Also, Carrie at the Johns Creek office is AMAZING and so caring. She really listened to the problem and did as much as she personally could to help guide me through this situation. She even came and found me when I had my first appointment just to talk and give me a hug. Great person and someone thatll make you happy to deal with the receptionist department. The lady that works beside her at the Johns Creek office (her name escapes me) was also amazing and so compassionate. Im currently driving an hour to see them, and its completely worth the drive. Highly recommended those doctors.

I have had nothing but WONDERFUL experiences with OBGYN of Atlanta for 2 different pregnancies and routine care. I mainly chose to see midwives throughout my pregnancies for prenatal care but Dr Franklin and Dr Lady were both very informative and had wonderful bedside manner. In 2015, Midwife Christine Jennings delivered my son at Northside Atlanta and in 2017 Kristy Bedell delivered my daughter at Northside Forsyth. Both experiences were amazing and went on without flaw. Kristy allowed and encouraged my husband be a part of the delivery process for my daughter and Christine had me pull my son once his shoulders were delivered. These moments are so special to both my husband and I, moments we wont ever forget! For my first pregnancy, I went into labor on my own after my water broke while I was actually checking out at the Johns Creek location following a NST test, and for my second pregnancy, I was induced at 39 weeks which included a little pitocin and Kristy breaking my water. Kristy was amazing throughout the whole process and explained things step-by-step as we needed to do them that morning. Thank you Kristy! I regularly go to the Johns Creek/Suwanee location but have been seen at all 3 locations for different reasons. The entire staff of midwives made me feel cared for and in good hands at all times. I mostly saw Rhonda, Kristy & Katie, as they were my favorites, but each one on staff really is fantastic! I also want to give 5 stars to the 2 women at the checkout desk at the JC location. I enjoy seeing their faces after each appointment and they are so sweet! I highly recommend OBGYN of Atlanta and Im glad I found them for all my prenatal needs and routine care.

I went for my last time in April of last year! I was seated in the waiting room for about 20 minutes. To be moved to another waiting room in the back for another 30 minutes. I sat there with nothing but pregnant woman and they all went before me! Im older and no longer want kids. Then I was sent to a room where I was to disrobe and wait another 30-40 minutes. Hard not to believe at this point Im not making them enough money due to the fact that Im not in the need or want to have children. I then told the Dr. my concerns for the moment to which she laughed at me and then told me this was normal. Im not going to go into what my problems are but the way she laughed at me and then said it was normal with no proof as to it being normal was absurd. Then to appease me she then decided, as my face was pretty pissed off, to run every test possible! Um...nope! Im done with this location! I am tired of being treated as nothing important! This is the last straw and Im done! I found a new DR that listened to me and told me what Im going through is indeed NOT NORMAL!

Just moved to Georgia and so happy I picked Womens Health Specialists of North Atlanta. I can honestly say my experience here was positive. I found this place to be a very comforting, friendly, and caring place. The service level from the the front desk (Sue), to the nurses and office manager (Grace), to the ultrasound techs and even the blood draw gals, is absolutely top notch. From the get-go, Dr. Cha made us feel comfortable, she took the time to answer all of our questions. She is very personable, friendly and highly competent. Highly recommend!
