This is the best dentist! Seems like Dr. Shiver has fixed 2 other dentists mess ups in my mouth. He is honest and seems to care about his patients teeth over money. I was referred to savannah for a root canal, by a dentist in Hinesville as well as told I needed to have a tooth removed. Come to find out...I did not need a root canal or a tooth removed! Waiting: I dont recall ever waiting more than 15 minutes. Cleaning: This office is very thorough when it comes to cleaning teeth. The first new patient appointment is supposed to be 2 hours. I dont think my appointment was that long. I love the way my teeth feel after the dental hygienist flosses & cleana my teeth. Its always so relaxing watching the birds and squirrels outside on the feeders, while waiting. The dentist showed me pictures of my teeth on the tv. Its always good having a visual. Dr. Shiver also answered all my questions and made sure I understood.

After having the "crud" for few days, went to Dr. and told me I had sinus infection... Started taking antibiotics... Saw Ron at Sunday School a few days later and told him my back jaw tooth was hurting and about Dr. telling me it was probably the sinus infection... Ron called early Monday morning and suggested, well more like demanded, that I come in for a Scan of my tooth... Immediately, Ron found the tooth was abscessed & referred me the same day for a root canal... I have had three aortic value replacements, and the last was probably due to a prior abscess tooth infecting my new 2nd valve, which was replaced... I am on additional antibiotics and hopefully caught the infection in time, this time. I would never survive a fourth open heart surgery, so I will always be thankful and appreciative to my good friend and dentist, Ron Shiver, for possibly saving my life! Jack Edwards

Today was my third visit and as usual it was a great visit. I never thought I would say that abt a dentists office. I grew up having a dentist who did not believe in giving kids novocaine and became fearful of dentists for the rest of my life. I am a white knuckler from the moment I walk in. Dr. Shivers office is quiet most of the time and I havent had to deal w/screaming kids. Dr Shiver and his staff are kind, relaxed and patient. He has time to answer all my questions and I never leave feeling rushed. His staff are equally kind, patient, and relaxed and very friendly. There is no rushing from room to room and they always ask if you need anything. I especially love the music in the office. It may seem silly but hearing the music I grew up with relaxes me even more. The best decision I made was switching to Dr Shiver and his staff.

My experience with Dr. Shiver and his staff has been nothing but outstanding. Always acting in a professional manner and in a professional atmosphere. Dr. shiver is up to date on all of the latest procedures and technology. I have never had to wait, even in emergency situations, to see Dr. shiver. I would highly recommend Dr. Shiver to anyone seeking a dentist.

No better dentist in the whole world than Dr. Shiver! Ive spent many hours in a dentist chair during my lifetime and most of it was not pleasant. Since Dr. Shiver has become my dentist, my attitude has completely changed. I am well cared for by him and his staff and I have the utmost confidence in him. He has a great team working for him!

Excellent practice. Staff is friendly and efficient. Hygienists are friendly and thorough. Dr. Shiver is a wonderful dentist. Will not require unnecessary procedures or action. He is friendly, caring, and knows his stuff. I highly recommend him. My husband is also a patient, and is also extremely satisfied with our dental care from Dr. Shiver.

Gave a 5 at first then after getting tooth pulled tried calling Friday and they were closed. I then called the emergency number that was given Friday and didnt get a call back! Called again Saturday and no answer still!
