I will shamefully admit it had been a long time since Id gone to the dentist. A string of bad experience was enough to put me off for a while. Needless to say I had a major case of anxiety when i finally decided to get myself in gear and find a dentist in Richmond. Ive only had my initial appointment but let me tell you Villa Rica Family Dental doing something right! Felicia who took my appointment over the phone was super helpful and explained everything to me. They like to start all new patients with a full comprehensive oral exam that includes teeth, tongue and gums. Full sets of x rays and slew of pictures all to help formulated the best care plan possible. Were new to the area and Villa Rica Family Dental came highly recommended. We were able to schedule a family of four, all staggered appointments. When we got there, very little wait time, immediately escorted to the back. Our hygienist was super friendly and efficient, and so was Dr. Chang, who ended up seeing all four of us. The office was probably the most welcoming and friendly I have encountered.

I had a horrible experience here the office is small and cramped they dont allow you to bring more than one child to the facility if theyre not being seen at the time. I am not about to pay for a babysitter so I can bring one child to the dentist. Dr. Chang is money driven she is not customer service driven. Her office manager upfront is very rude and not customer service oriented. If you try to leave their practice they want to charge you for your medical records. I would suggest Bain dental group. They are much more professional. Dr. Chang has already been in trouble once for mistreating children. She was restraining them against their will. You can Google the news article under smiles R us. I would suggest staying away from this practice.

If you want to have terrible customer service and be made to feel like you are an hassle, then this is the dentist office for you. I arrived early for my appointment and after waiting over 30 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time, they still hadnt called me. At that point, I was not interested in giving this dentist any of my money nor business. In addition to waiting, the person that had initially taken my information down when I first called, wrote down my phone number incorrectly. Therefore, I had to call the office prior to my appointment to confirm it. The conclusion of my whole experience is dont go here. Find another dentist where the staff is competent.

The first time I took my daughter to this office the receptionist was very rude and spoke hateful to me. I let someone talk me into going back there and giving it another try...they are all rude. I called and spoke to Felicia about a upcoming appointment and she acted like she didnt want to help me and so I ended the phone call. I called back to cancel the appointment. Lots of people say that Dr. Chang is a great dentist but your office help can kill your practice. I have great insurance and a maxed out FSA..I am sure there is a dentist in town who actually wants my business.

Worst dentist eve . Thanks to this lady my husband is going through another root canal on the same tooth because she didnt get all of it to begin with. He was also sent to a hospital for a shot because of how severe his infection was after the root canal was done. She told us she couldnt fix it and sent us to another dentist, and was supposed to fax the x-rays so we didnt have to pau for another set of them. SHE DIDNT so thats another $657 that we had to pay because "she forgot" to fax them. Thank you for nothing Chang. I would never recommend her. Stupid dentist she is.

Dr.Chang and her assistants do a very good job with me and Ive been going there for almost two years. They text and call you about your appointments when its almost time. The only thing I dont like is when your late for your appointment they act like you dont even exist lol. Sometimes you cant help it when your late but overall they are amazing.

Worst dentist Ive ever been to. Now that Ive actually had great dental service. This place sucks. The staff sucks and the dentist sucks. The butcher is her nickname in other offices. I just had to spend $5,000 on a new bridge and root canal that she was supposed to get right the first time. Stay away from this dentist please. Terrible

Dr. Jamey Chang is a wonderful Dentist! I had a particularly ugly case and she didnt bat an eye lash at the problem. Her staff is exceptional and communication is excellent on all levels.She was highly recommended to me and I am doing the same. An excellent Dentist is very hard to find.

Very great practice. Professional and so great with my daughter. She has a huge fear of the dentist and every time we come they put her fears at ease. Sweet, smiling faces &upbeat temperament. Also, its nice to find a dentist that know what their talking about! Love this dentist office!

Everyone was very friendly and explained what the procedures consisted of. They were very attentive to pain and making sure I couldnt feel anything. I would highly recommend. The only complaint I have is the hours of operation.
