Im very dissatisfied with the office billing department of Aspen dental in Cartersville. I cant get an appointment to have my remake partials adjusted. I was told my 2nd set would be no cost to me, my 1st set was useless for eating. Ive not paid the 1st set off yet either. The Office of Aspen has been double billing me since I was told the 2nd set would be of no cost by the Dentist more than once or Id not agreed to have 2nd set made, I would love a refund on my 1st set that Ive no use for also . The office in Cartersville Georgia refusing to give me appointments since Mid November2016. November, I do get Robo calls on my bill for partials that were appointments to supposed to be of no charge to me. I live on a fixed income disabled, I cant afford 2 sets of partials with my budget. The office manager needs to get on board with what the Dentist has told me. I was told my 2nd at of partials would be no charge to me, they were a remake. Ive been billed since October for 2nd set despite what Ive been told. Ive tried to get appointment to have adjustments but Im not able to because of the bill on the 2nd set , Ive never even payed off the 1 set of partials yet , its so unfair, Im very dissatisfied with 1st & 2nd set of partials made at Aspen. I was told when 2nd impressions were made that Aspen in Cartersville was using a different Dental lab , nor the same lab that made my 1st set.

I was disappointed to find out that the so called FREE EVALUATION 1st visit is NOT FREE if you have INSURANCE. If you do not have insurance then it is free. Does that sound familiar to anyone WITH OUR CURRENT POLITICAL VIEWS BEING DISCUSSED EVERYDAY. Also you could tell with the Business Manager person was apparently ready to go home. I sensed that her smile was very superficial. I kept trying to lighten the sense I was holding her up by repeatedly telling her how much I appreciated her answering my questions to show her some gratitude. it did not phase her superficial gestures or her mannerisms. If it were not for me asking the questions I would not have found out that my insurance was going to be charged for my 1st so-called FREE VISIT. The receptionist out front as I came in was very friendly and courteous and helpful. The staff in the back that xrayed me and other things was also very professional and courteous. I was very impressed as well with the Dr. Patel.. I look forward to having this office to take care of my needs as long as I do not have to deal with the Business Manager again. For the record they are not financing my services so that has no bearing on my experience. Payment of the required services was already planned before I even entered the building...

My wife went in for a wisdom teeth removal, upon arrival the receptionist was very nice and the good experience just about ends there. Dr. Chishom performed the surgery and was EXTREMELY rude to my wife. She is breastfeeding our child and she requested that she was prescribed hydrocodone for pain relief, Dr. Chishom wanted to pretend he was a real doctor and told her that she cannot breastfeed should she be prescribed that, which when we were in the hospital this is what they gave her on top of our pediatrician telling us it will be okay. Instead he took it upon himself to prescribe her oxycodone, which the pediatrician told us under no circumstances should she be breastfeeding while taking it. He said he cannot think of any doctor that would allow her to take hydrocodone and breastfeed, I say probably a doctor that went to real medical school. Besides that he criticized how she is raising our child (as if that is any of his business) and almost refused any pain medication at all! The only redeeming quality of this "dental practice" was the reception and dental assistants. I would highly recommend going elsewhere unless you wreck your car in front of the building and need immediate dental work.

Their front office staff is very rude. They do not give out information on what to do after a procedure nor do they explain what they will be doing. You have to research everything prior to your appointment so that if you do have questions you will know what to ask. If not, good luck! And even if you do ask questions you will get multiple DIFFERENT responses to your question. When you call their office you get put on hold and then hung up on. DO NOT USE their oral surgeon, if you need surgery GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I have never been to a dental office that was so unorganized and chaotic. Be ready to wait up to an hour before being called back for your appointment and be ready to pay for things that are advertised as FREE throughout the brochures and wall decor. I will be changing my familys dental insurance so that we NEVER have to go back to Aspen Dental. My 5 year old knows more about dental hygiene and care then these people do!! If I could give 0 stars I would and I cannot wait to meet with our Lawyer next week to discuss the multiple infrastructures done to myself and my family.

There was a very long wait but this is a franchise type place and so I expected that. The girl who did my initial xrays and intake stuff was WONDERFUL!! She was so sweet and patient and very friendly. She was the kind of care provider one would expect to see in a local, more family-owned type of establishment. The hygienist was okay. She was gentle. Dr. Patel was very friendly and I feel like would be a great dentist. That is where the positive ends. Once I had seen the dentist, I was quickly moved to the front where a care plan was discussed with me by a financial associate within the business. She was friendly however she was not listening to what I was saying. The entire conversation revolved around money and not what I needed done. I was told insurance didnt cover XYZ and when I explained I thought it did, I was cut off and the conversation continued to go back to financing and getting things done NOW that could wait rather than get the current (major) problem dealt with immediately.

This was absolutely the worst dentist office experience Ive ever had. I waited for over an hour in the waiting room plus an hour in the chair, and the communication was extremely poor. When asked what the purpose of my visit was, I responded with a cleaning. I was expecting to receive a cleaning at some point during my over 2 hr visit! When the treatment plan was explained to me, I was under the impression that I would receive my basic cleaning and could pay extra to undergo the "gingivitis" treatment. I have been to the dentist every 6 months since I was 5 yrs old and have never been told it was "against the law" to perform a basic cleaning for me nor that I needed to pay an extra $200 for a periodontal cleaning. No doubt this is a money ploy. Ill be paying for a basic cleaning at a more reputable dentist out of pocket before returning to Aspen Dental!

Started out good but now trying to get my dentures to fit has been horrible! trying to get my second hard reline, they dont do what they say they will do, have gone for a Friday morning 8:00am apportment to be told once I get there , "sorry, we cant do a hard line today because its our short day! Youll have to make another appointment Monday -Thursday". I went in today, Wednesday 6/7/17 at 8:00 am , they took an impression and told me they would call me as soon as they are ready around lunch. Well its 2:30 and still no call, I called the customer care dept because I couldt get thru on the office phone, was told I could pick my dentures up at anytime, no one there had any instructions to call me. I am so finished with this horrible place! I would not even give them a star but I have to in order to post this.
