Over the past few months I have had a tooth extracted and an implant put into my mouth at Advanced Dental & Implant Care. Before all of this took place, I had never had any type of surgery anywhere on my body so on a scale of 1-10 for nervousness, I was an 11. The thought of getting a dental implant and the process it involved scared me to death. I had expressed my concerns with Dr. Pottorff and his staff and they assured me hundreds of times that they would make sure I was comfortable and relaxed before each procedure. They also kept me informed on every step of the process and let me know what they were going to do, how long it was going to take, and what I was going to feel while it was happening. For someone like me who was freaking out about it, I really appreciated the communication and feedback that I got from the Doctor and his assistants before, during, and after the whole thing. By the end of the first part of my procedure (tooth extraction) I was embarrassed about how much I had been worrying. I didnt feel an ounce of discomfort and I really trusted that they were going to do a great job on top of that. By the time I went in for the second part of the procedure 3 months later, I was hardly even nervous at all. After it was all said and done, I couldnt thank them enough for giving me the care I needed and helping me feel comfortable about something I had never experienced before. The recovery process for me was pain-free and problem-free and I really think that Dr. Pottorff and his staff have given me a sturdy implant! I would highly recommend them to anyone - you will not be disappointed!

I was referred to Dr. Pottorff because I needed a tooth pulled and subsequently an implant put in. Since I didnt really know what to expect and not ever having an implant before, I have to admit I was rather nervous about the whole process. I was impressed immediately with my very first visit! I was explained to in detail exactly what the process was going to be from pulling the tooth and installing the implant. Dr. Pottorff answered every single question and concern I had. I never felt rushed and he took his time! His office staff was equally as polite and were as concerned about my comfort and anxiety over this as I was. They were unbelievable to say the least! Upon my first consultation everything was explained to me with regards to what my insurance would cover and they were spot on! I have to say through both procedures I felt no discomfort! Dr. Pottorff made sure to keep me as comfortable as possible. He always explained what he was going to be doing just before he did it and always asked how I was doing throughout the whole process! I will be using Advanced Dental & Implant Care for all of my future specialty needs and I am recommending them to whoever I can! I never expected to be writing such an awesome review over getting a tooth pulled and an implant put in! I think that says it all! Again, thank you very very much Dr. Pottorff and staff!

I cant give enough praise to Dr. Pottorff and his entire staff. My local dentist recommended Dr. Pottorff after determining that implants were my sole option for a gum line fractured front tooth as well as infected tissue at the sight of a root canal done by my previous dentist on a back molar. I was leery of the procedure and certainly not very enthusiastic, but my initial fears were unfounded. Dr. Pottorff has a very reassuring manner and put me at ease immediately. The procedure required bone grafting at both sites as well as the implants and the whole process took about 6 months because Dr. Pottorff was very careful not to rush the process; not proceeding to a new phase until he was certain that the time was right. Bottom line - the operation was a complete success. All in all, I would echo my local dentists words of recommendation to me at the outset - "Dr. Pottorff is the best Ive ever seen at what he does ". And I cant say enough about his staff. They are a very professional group and it is a pleasure to experience their interaction with the Doctor and his patients. I enjoyed them immensely. I recommend this practice without reservation. Thanks so much everyone.

I love Dr. Pottrof and his staff. I just cant say enough about how great they are. I am extremely scared of dentists, to the point that I had not been to a dentist in over 10 years. I even went a whole year before I decided to do something about a missing crown. I met Dr. Pottrof to talk about my fears and my dental issues. I can not tell you how understanding both he and his staff were regarding my fears. Based on my first meeting, I decided to give Dr Pottrof a try. I am happy to say that over the last nine months or so, he has addressed all of my dental issues and, as a plus, helped me feel much more comfortable about having dental work done! The work that had to be done has been extensive (thats what happens when you wait ten years). Each appointment was handled professionally, but more importantly, with great care and consideration given to my fears. The procedures that were done included, a deep cleaning for gingivitis, an implant for a tooth that could not be saved, two crowns and several small fillings. The end result is that I have beautiful teeth again. Its nice to smile again. I recommend this office to anyone. I know Ill continue to see Dr. Pottrof.

Having had a bridge for many years that was failing, I knew I was going to need some implants. After scheduling an appointment it wasnt long till I had a full procedure plan and cost breakdown right in front of me. They explained all the numbers, what needed to be done clearly and made sure that I had all the information to make my decision to continue or pursue a different option. There was no pressure at all. I later started down the road of getting 2 implants. The actual process of getting the implant was very easy. Minimal discomfort. Overall not too big of a deal. I have 2 new implants now that feel just like my other teeth. The color is perfectly matched and no one is the wiser. The entire staff was extremely helpful and even after the procedure I continue to use them as my primary dentist for cleanings. Ive never had any insurance issues with them and even when my insurance company was being a pain, they helped get everything straightened out. Ive very happy with the service they provide and dont see myself going anywhere else. Id highly recommend giving them a try!

I came to Dr. Pottorff because of a failing tooth. I strongly dislike having to go to any type of dentist. I was hoping I had chosen the right dentist for my needs and I was not dissapointed. The day after I received my temp I noticed that it was not fitting well and was hurting my gum line. It was Labor Day weekend and I feared I would not be able to reach Dr.Pottorff. I called the emergency number he gives to all his patience and he picked up. He was able to answer my questions and even offered to meet me at his office in order to make any adjustments. He is really attentive to any questions or concerns that you may have. He made the experience as painless as it could have been. During the visits you have his full attention. He does not juggle multiple appointments. I have gone to dentist who could have been a lot more gentle. There was no issue here. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk is very knowledgeable when it comes to insurance policies. I dont think I could have gone to a better place and would recommend, without hesitating, to family and friends.
