My husband and I had our baby girl early this year and chose Dr.Michelle Rose as her pediatrician. She saw her in the hospital when my daughter was born and weve been going to her ever since for the past 5 months. Although Dr. Rose was never very friendly or accommodating, I always shrugged it off thinking that even though I may not love her personality, at least she seems pretty thorough in her examinations and such. Over the course of the last 5 months however, the visits have gotten shorter, she has become much less attentive, and her attitude seems to be one in which shes doing us a huge favor during every appointment. In addition to that, the ladies at the front desk are incredibly rude and frustrating. The office is literally EMPTY every time we come there, which says something in and of itself... but even despite that what bothers me is they sit there doing nothing and then when you walk in hoping to check in or go up to the counter to ask them a question, they respond with attitude and in the same fashion as the doctor, pretend like theyre doing you a huge favor by giving you the time of day to answer your question or tend to you as a patient. The final straw for me though was our last appointment... if you can even call it that. I arrived 5 minutes late to an appointment that was already prepaid and was met angrily at the front of the office by Dr. Michelle Rose. Mind you, there was not a single patient in the entire office (which like I mentioned before is pretty standard for them) so I figured maybe she was just greeting us. She then proceeded to tell us in the most rude way I have ever been spoken to in my life that because we are late, she is turning us away and we need to call and reschedule our appointment. Despite our apologies and efforts to explain our FIVER MINUTE delay, she insulted us, insulted our baby, and blatantly ignored anything we said to her. After turning around and walking away while we were still talking to her, I was floored with how she treated us as patients. Refusing to follow her and continue our dramatic discussion, I went to the ladies at the front desk to at least try and salvage the $25 copay I was told to pay online prior to teh visit. They condescendingly told me that that was not their department and they couldnt help me. I said what do you mean, I paid money to you guys and now after being turned out of an appointment you guys are just going to keep the money? This went on for another 5-10 minutes until I finally gave up and went home to do my own research on how to get my money back. I ended up just doing a chargeback, but oh my gosh... please save yourself the time, trouble, and heartache and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I only wish someone had warned me about this woman and this atrocious office.

I started with Dr Rose when my daughter was born. Being a daycare child, she has been sick on and off with your standard colds and ear infections - there was not a time that I brought my child in and she did not have something going on. That said, I consider myself to be conservative and not one to run to the doctor at the first sniffle. I had a really, really disappointing experience one evening when Dr. Rose was the on call physician. It was a hot, summer day, and by 11pm, my daughter had not wet a diaper since around 3pm. She had had two- three feedings at that point, plus solid food and was around 5 months old. I had called Dr. Rose and she noted that we start to be more concerned around 12 hours of not wetting. I woke at 3am by chance and noticed that she still had not wet a diaper - I called Dr Rose again and when the call was returned - I was treated as though it was a grave inconvenience to have been woken early morning. She asked me if i thought my child was going to explode, and what exactly I thought was going to happen to her if she didnt wet a diaper. As a new mom - I wasnt sure what would happen, but I felt that for her to not go for that long was concerning. She then scoffed that I should just take her to the ER if that was what i wanted to do, and that they would put a catheter in her at that point which wasnt pleasant. She noted that the 12 hours was "arbitrary" and that I could stay up all night and worry and not do anyone any good, or I could get some rest and wait to see if she had wet her diaper by the morning. At some point I think she realized how harsh she was being, and her tone softened and she tried to back peddle from her response, but at that point, my mind was made up. yes - she was great for well visits, and they always had availability. But as a parent, you want your pediatrician to be someone that when you are in need or there is a concern, is empathetic and comforting. I did not feel that way, and would not recommend Dr. Rose if you have a child who will need to go to the dr for more than just well visits.

After Dr. Michelle Rose had been our daughters pediatrician for the first 6 months of her life, we were so disappointed with our experience that we decided to find a new doctor. I dont want anyone else to have the same horrible experience as we did. HER OFFICE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE! We complained multiple times about the lack of courtesy and respect the office staff has for patients. We were patient, but we still experienced bad service time and time again. As first time parents, we did not feel as comfortable as we wouldve liked asking questions to the nurses or Dr. Rose. Also, Dr. Rose has cancelled on us twice, one of which she cancelled the day before for an appointment that we made 3 months prior, due to her deciding to take a last-minute vacation. On top of all that, its a dirty (unclean) office.
