Every staff member I interacted with was professional yet friendly. The office seemed to run efficiently: I was seen a few minutes before my appointment time and had brief waits between multiple services within the same visit (like waiting for the dilation eye drops to take effect). The receptionist called my insurance company for me and was able to let me know exactly what was (and was not) covered. It is always great to know exactly what you have to pay for when walking out of a doctors office. A++ for Dr. Gelb and her team.

I was searching for the fax number of CECC and found these reviews which are insufficient to describe the expertise of such a qualified team and sincerity of the front desk juniors who couldn’t be more satisfying in extending services than any other healthcare provider. You will meet Dr. Gelb there and will know that she is a great diagnostician, clinician, ace Optometrist in her field who is smart, adaptive, accommodating to your unclear needs and varied demands. I recommend you all to visit her for any eye care need.

The Chicago Eye Care Center has been by far very professional, fast, and convenient. Dr. Gelbs eye care is genuine and her office is very clean, modern, and inviting. My family has insurance but the prices for eye exams, frames or contacts seem very reasonable. They feature many designer frames including Burberry, Ray Bans, D&C, among others. I will continue to return for my annual checkups and prescriptions as necessary, but definitely would recommend.

Went today for a medical condition my doctor couldnt diagnose, Doc Gelb knew exactly what it was and prescribed the proper meds, plus a follow up for a recheck. Shes my new Optometrist for sure now. Staff was also very professional, friendly and accommodating. Awesome, all around experience. I feel like Im in great hands. Happy patient.
