I recently took my cat to see Dr. Anthony there. She was not only very professionall, but very sweet to my cat. She did a very thorough exam and made some recommendations. It was a little bit of sticker shock for me, but after researching other downtown Chicago veterinary practices, they proved to be very decently priced. I only did what I wanted to and they didnt push services on me that I couldnt afford, or didnt want. She just told me what was best for my cat, and I really appreciated that. Veterinary bills are pricy anywhere you go, but at least this place I feel comfortable and confident that my cat is getting the best of care :)

I agree with the other comments. My cat gets a recurring eye infection (as diagnosed by a vet at the City Cat Doctor). It cost me a considerable amount to get that diagnosis and the eye drops were not cheap either. Nevertheless, when I called again a short time later to get a refill on the same prescription, they claimed they had no record of it and that I would have to come in . . . again. I am not going back to this place because they are going to work every single visit for all it is worth and then some.

My cat was treated very well by the vet and staff. I brought my healthy cat in for a checkup and booster shots. The appointment was quick but not rushed and I was happy with the service.

Best location to take your cat. Ive gone to 2 other places around the city and most only cater to dogs. This place only serves cats.
