#chitequilatasting this was right off the blue line -- very easy to locate if you look at the numbers on the doors...the secretary inside was kind to me and helped me find a person that i was looking for...She was patient and went immediately to help me find someone who could help me when she didnt know who i was looking for. Its a very spacious area for a clinic. They have great services for women -- such as the LGBT and HIV awareness programs. They have a waiting room inside that certainly helps you feel at home. It helps you not feel awkward and helps you feel comfortable being there. They have pamphlets for their many services as well so if you are interested in anything they have in their clinic, youre able to look into it that way too.

Wanted to know how I could get on PrEP so I took a train an hour to the Howard and Brown Heath Center and they asked me to take a number and wait. Finally they called me up, gave me a number to call, told me to leave a message and someone should get back to me within 3 days. Right as I leave I call the number and it doesnt give the option to leave a voicemail so I walk back in, they give me a different number to call and dismiss me. I walk back out, call the number and leave a voicemail. 3 weeks go by and no one returned the call like promised. I call the main line / call center and wait an hour and a half ... no one picks up. Very poor service. No idea whats going on or how to proceed.

Needed to get checked out after coming here wasnt as much people as the usual free clinics this one was nice and friendly and defintly low cost for a faster pace clinic compared to the other free clinics that make you wait atleast 2 - 3 1/2 hours...I came here and checked in and right away filled a short information sheet and within 20minutes I was called by the doc by my initials since they keep your name discrete the doctor in there gave me medication right away after knowing my symptoms and I was done within 40min or so..fast and good clinic I recommend for anyone who are doing check ups for stis and such...

Been going here since 2012. Great place to go. Staff is amazing, helpful, and courteous. It is busy, as people come from all around the city and this is the main location. I never feel rushed. Ive had to wait a couple times past my appointment due to my provider being behind but Im a patient person so it didnt bother me that bad (it was almost 2 hours past my appointment time when I finally got called back). Other than that, music is always playing in the lobby, the staff is always smiling, and the pharmacy is very convenient.

Went in for an appointment I scheduled a couple weeks ago. Was early for my appointment yet when it came to my appointment time, I wasnt called. Then I waited another 10 minutes...then 20, then 30, then when it was coming up to an hour I told them to forget it. By the way, I am also a paying customer with insurance so I hate to see the way the uninsured are treated. I always try to support clinics that offer services to those who cant afford them but wont be supporting them. A complete waste of my afternoon.

Its great being in a bigger city and having access to a well informed and educated LGBT clinic. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Both locations are eawsily accessible and nice. The physicians and clinicians I have seen have been wonderful and very well educated on LGBT health and lifestyle issues. I would recommend anyone, LGBT or not, to check out HBHC.

Probably the worst experience Ive had with a administrative staff. Id expand on my experience but having to call twice daily just to have them email me a referral for a specialist has left me drained of energy, as Ive had to complete My Job, Their Referral "Specialist" Job, and Receptionist Job. Dr Was Nice Enough, Sadly I wont be going back to them ever.

At Howard Brown the staff is knowlegable and peofessional. I have enjoyed being a patient there so far. They are punctual about keeping appointments. The social work staff is very helpful and have been an awesome support system since relocating to Chicago. I have recieved awesome medical care and support from Howard Brown!

Love HBHC! Theres no place like it, the doctors work with you so well, and I never feel any negativity. This is the best place for all LGBTQ persons and Ive never felt any better at a doctors office. The waits arent too bad, but the phone calls get too hung up on hold, but its always worth it.

I receive a consistant quality of care and respect from the entire staff. If it werent for the excellence of the doctors, physicians assistants and nurse practitioners Ive been treated by over the years, Im sure I wouldnt have the quality of life I have now. Sto lat, my friends, Sto lat!!!

Amazing Clinic! Excellent care, knowledgeable medical staff and helpful and friendly office staff. They are a wonderful organization and provide high quality service to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. This is the best clinic in Chicago, especially if you are LGBTQ.

They frequently send you drugs you no long take, they frequently forget to send you your monthly supply of drugs. When one has a life threatening illness this is unacceptable. The staff is sometimes like a 10 year-old in their handling a disgruntled customer

These people are here only to make money. Everyone was rude especially the check in clerk. I told them upfront i couldnt afford to pay and they said it was ok. 2 months later then send me a bill in the mail.
