I will never come here again. I scheduled an appointment with Dr.Roshini for January 9, 2017 at 11am, for a routine cleaning and gum pain. I was escorted to the back fairly quickly, which was a pleasant surprise being the dentist! I got an x-ray, the dentist checked my tooth, but before the dentist began my cleaning he stated that my insurance didnt cover the cost for cleaning, and it would be 50 to proceed. Now, mind you, I already clarified with my insurance and my insurance company recommended the facility because it was located 10 minutes from my home. As I explained this to the dentist, he told me I was wrong and repeated the cost for he cleaning with a voice of sarcasm.... I contacted my insurance again from the car and they called the dentist on a third call to confirm what I said, the receptionist stated I could reschedule. I told her no, Im in the parking lot I can just come back in. Now mind its 11:45 and, then 12:20 I finally get called to the back, the dentist jokes about seeing me again, and vaguely says my insurance must have changed.(Im assuming now because my insurance company called and verified with receptionist that I was all set) The dental assistant places my "bib" around me, and the dentist tells me he will return in a few minutes to start. 10 minutes pass, and the dentist returns and ask me "what number did you call to contact your insurance"? I tell him the number on the back of my card. He then says "how did you get through so fast, because I have been waiting for quiet a while". But with sarcasm and as if I was telling a lie. I just repeat that I got the number off the card. He says, "well I dont want you to get billed for this if it doesnt cover your insurance" Im just thinking now wtf is this dentist talking about??? Didnt my insurance already confirm? why is he calling again ????. (guess he could tell by now I was getting a bit upset). After still waiting, I see its now 1:10, and I get up throw off the "bib" and head to the receptionist desk to get my insurance card. As soon as I stepped out the receptionist informed me I was fine with my coverage. I told her I didnt need the service and I left. When I get to my vehicle my fiance told me the dentist came out to he lobby and ask the receptionist did she actually speak to my insurance company and implied again that I was lying. This dentist discriminated against me because of the type of insurance I had, and I am Black. He was rude about the situation, and his professionalism did not exist. Now, I dont understand why my insurance information wasnt checked prior to my arrival, and for the dentist to show no sincerity for his mistake, and his office, only showed arrogance. I waited there for 2 hours, watch him call 2 additional patients, and watch 8 d.a. walk through bored. He told me nothing was wrong with my tooth, and after seeing another dentist I found out he did not do his job at all. If I could rate this a negative it would be -10.

Horrible liars! My 84 year old mother has been to this place 3 times in the last 6 months, she has given them lots of business. Well, my mom went to get a cleaning this last time , she asked if they could hold her check, one day only or would they like a credit card, they said theyd hold the check. Well, they didnt, it bounced and the owner said, "Im sorry, my fault, I will send you the fee back to you out of my own personal bank account". She didnt , when my mother called and said Im still waiting, they told her, no, we are not going to send it, and too bad!! I called to tell them what happened to " its my fault, and Ill send it out of my own personal bank account?", the owner hung up on me!! She is either mentally ill, or they are horrible horrible people! Even the staff is rude, they lie for the owner, telling me the manager is in meetings, or keeping me on hold for 15..... minutes, when I hang up after being put on hold forever and try calling back, they let it go to voicemail, I have to call from different numbers in order for them to answer. The staff calls the owner, the manager, but who offers to pay a fee from their own personal account, and apologizes saying Im calling from home...? We all know this "manager" is the owner! A terrible person, totally non- professional, rude person. They lie and steel. The dentist that works for her should run out of there like the last 10 dentists did and find normal people to work for! They dont deserve even one star, but this would not let me leave this review without tapping a star. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES! TOTALLY NON-PROFESSIONALS!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!

It was quickly recommended to me that I needed expensive (and not covered by insurance) periodontal cleaning. I was suspicious, as I have gotten routine cleanings every six months for my entire life, brush twice daily, and do not have any dental issues. The dentist hurriedly completed my initial visit, and didnt clearly explain why he felt the periodontal cleaning was needed. He then sent in Nancy the Office Manager in order to explain the financial arrangements. She offered a considerable discount, with no explanation as to why, which was another alarm bell that they were trying to push me into an unnecessary procedure. (A profit of $500 (the quoted cost to me) is less than the "real" quoted price of $1200 but certainly better than zero if I chose not to do it). I went to a second dentist this week to get a second opinion. He examined the same x-rays that they took and said that the bones of my teeth were "textbook" perfection and he wouldnt recommend periodontal cleaning procedure at this time, though he did not some additional build-up, that he cook care of during a basic cleaning. I will not return to Hanover Dental and will warn others of their shoddy practices.

Came in for a check up. The receptionist upfront had a huge attitude talking over the doctor and not letting the other receptionist help me find a phone number. She kept asking questions and then talking over the other receptionist when she was trying to answer her question. Gosh how does anyone get anything done with that horrible receptionist up front. She was also taking down to the doctor asking why did the patients get called without them being checked in. The doctor said Im not sure, so she told the other receptionist to go talk to the patients, instead of getting her ugly self off that chair and figuring it out herself. By the way she was sitting up front when the patients were called. What a horrible person. The Doctor was nice and the male assistant was also nice. I feel bad for the lady that needs to work next to that ugly person.

Ive been coming to this Dental practice for years and have never had a bad experience . The office manager Norma is one of the best , she always tries her best to accommodate her patients even when miscommunications occur. Ive been in the office several times when people simply walk in and ask for her because its nice to know someone who cares for you especially when being at a Dental office . Dr. Rasik ( not sure on the spelling) is such a sweetheart. He truly knows what he is doing and makes each visit go by smoothly . Front desk girls were really nice , especially when Teresa was working ! The office is also kid friendly with toys in the waiting room and kid friendly movies to watch in each room ! Overall , Ill keep coming to Hanover Dental for my dental needs and my kids . Merry Christmas !
