My Family and I came in with our very first dog, a 3 month old female Cocker Spaniel named Shelby in the cold snowy winter of 1993. What followed afterwards was the most amazing relationship between Shelby, her wonderful groomer Margie and the Doctor who cared for her primarily, Dr. Nykaza. From the time she was a puppy, to an over friendly teen who just loved everyone, Dr. Nykaza and her staff were there. When she was 4 years old and came down with illness it was Dr. Nykaza and her staff that taught us about the cushings disease that Shelby developed and what it would take to treat something that would be with her the rest of her days. We were vigilant in keeping her as healthy as we could and Lincolnway made that possible. Was there expense? Dont remember. Was there labor in making sure she took her medicine? Dont remember. Did Nykaza and her staff help us and inform us on how Shelby was faring the next 6 more years of her life? That I remember soundly, and that answer is YES!!!!! Did Shelby love going to the vet? Oh my God, more than any of us would ever want to go to our own doctors! "Shelby! Wanna go see Margie? Wanna go to vet?!" She was trained not to go nuts about going outside to play, but mentioning a trip to see her favorite friends? Completely nuts! She never pulled her leash on a walk unless upon arrival she saw we arrived at Lincolnway then she mad dashed for the door. The check in would see her dart into the door, if no one else was there, and the front staff knew us said it was ok, I could let go of the leash and she would run to the back knowing exactly where she was going. I kinda felt jealous; I mean, there were other people she really loved beside just her own family! Ultimately though the time came where her illness progressed beyond medicine to intervene and the hardest decision as a family had to be made. The vivid memory of that morning will stay with me forever as I walked back and forth holding her in my arms as she slept her final sleep not wanting to let her go. During that time, and I dont remember in what order, I recall her groomer Margie who had come in to see us in the room, hug us and with tears in her eyes touch and talk with Shelby, then to us about how much she loved grooming her over the years. It meant so much! Dr Nykaza had not arrived yet as Shelby was going to rest, but did visit us to console us afterwards. It was Dr Wajda who helped Shelby cross that Rainbow Bridge, she too had also treated Shelby over the years, and it was a comfort that it would not be a total stranger. She treated our girl with the upmost of respect just like every single person involved at Lincolnway had over the past ten years. I havent been back there since I moved so far away and in truth because it still hurts all these years later, but I have always wanted them to know how much we appreciated all of them for how our beloved Shelby was treated from the start of her life to her end. To have that type of relationship between the Doctor, your pet and yourself is absolutely priceless. Thank you so much!

I cant begin to express how thankful my husband and I are for the amazing care that Dr. Kimmey and his staff gave to our cat Lola over the last few years of her life. He was always right on top of the best course of treatment for her, and truly cared about her and her health while under his care. The staff were equally amazing and caring, and we couldnt be happier with them. When we lost Lola to kidney failure a little over a month ago, we rescued a 9 month old kitten and took her to see Dr. Kimmey immediately for a well-being check up. Now our new kitten has a great doctor looking out for her as well. Thank you for all you have done for us over the years - were truly appreciative!

THEY KILLED MY DOG!!! NOT ONLY DID THEY BOTCH MY BEAUTIFUL DOGS SURGERY, WHICH MADE IT SO SHE HAD TO TAKE MEDICINE THE REST OF HER LIFE, BUT THEN THEY OVER MEDICATED HER AND BURNT THE INSIDE OF HER STOMACH. SHE COULD NOT EAT AND JUST KEPT LOOSING WEIGHT. THEIR TREATMENT WAS MORE DRUGS AND TO KEEP HER OVER NIGHT. NOW I HAVE TO GO PICK UP MY BABYS BODY. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN AND STRONGLY URGE ANYONE THAT LOVES THEIR ANIMAL TO STAY VERY VERY FAR. I HONESTLY CANT BELIEVE THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. I WISH THIS WAS ALL A BIG BAD DREAM. YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT I WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL COUNSELING.

I have been going to Lincolnway Animal Hospital for over twenty years with our pets. I have always found the staff to be warm, caring, and attentive. They show respect to the animals in your life and privide the best treatment and follow-up care. (including phone calls after office visits to see how your pet is doing) The doctors are wonderfully supportive and take your feelings and concerns very seriously. I highly recommend Lincolnway Animal Hospital. Sandi Hoger

I have been taking pets to Lincolnway for many years. I have high praise for one Vet there, in particular. Dr. Donna Nykaza. She is very knowledgeable and caring about all of your pets. I would recommend her highly. The only negative about the practice is that they are cost prohibitive in their fees and if youre income is a factor, there are other places to get basic services for your pets, such as vaccinations and spay/neuter services that could be an option.

Words cannot explain fully the service and the staff at Lincolnway Animal Hospital. To us they are more like family. They are always able to listen to our concerns and will respond quickly no matter how small or large the concern may be, Every staff member is compassionate and has a love of animals. I know that our "kids" are in the bast hands and I trust the care and decision they make to keep our family healthy!

I had a great experience at the Lincolnway Animal Hospital. My dog was very sick and I had never been to this animal hospital before. Dr. Kimmey and his staff were extremely helpful and professional. My dog is fine now, thanks to the Lincolnway Animal Hospital. I will definitely be taking my dog there in the future for all his annual vaccinations and any other needs.

I have been coming to Dr. Nykaza for over 25 years. She is absolutely amazing. Her staff is compassionate and loving. I recently lost 2 dogs, within 4 days of each other, which devastated us, and Lincolnway Animal Hospital was phenomenal in helping keep both dogs comfortable at the very end. Dr. Nykaza cried right along with me. This place is the best!!!

Dr Nam and Lincolway Animal Hospital is only concerned with money!! They will not call in prescriptions and are extremely over priced. Find somewhere else to bring your pet. Take them to someone who actually cares about pets.
