Im afraid of the dentist. Theres no better way to put it. The only reason I found my way here is because theyre close to home and I needed an appointment fast. I called to schedule an appointment and was handled professionally. I printed out my new patient paperwork as instructed and filled it out in the privacy of my home. I gave my insurance information over the phone and that was that. I arrived to the office a nervous wreck and made sure they knew Id rather be elsewhere as Im deathly afraid of the dentist. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated as the three year old I am inside when it comes to the dentist...with kid gloves. Ive decided to make this home for myself and my family. Although I came in knowing Id receive a referral to a surgeon for my wisdom tooth extraction, the dentist gave me the option of having him extract it. Normally I would have declined and asked for the referral so I could be put under, but the dentist demeanor was calm and reassuring so I let him remove my tooth. I had my Wisdom tooth extracted under local anestia with minimal discomfort throughout. Its five hours later and Im typing this review with no pain. As far as payment, they were upfront about what my insurance covered as well as my out of pocket expense without the pressure tactic. If I had seen a surgeon Im sure my cost would have been close outrageous. I cant believe Im saying this but I look forward to next steps in getting the smile of my dreams. Before you believe in all the bad reviews you read here, do what I did and try them out for yourself.

In short DO NOT GO HERE, THEY LIE AND TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY WHILE DOING ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY WORK TO YOUR TEETH. I wish I could reach out to all people personally who go or are thinking about going to this dentist as everyone deserves to be warned of this horrible place. I went in as a new costumer and was told I had 9 cavities that would cost my insurance money and me over 1,000 dollars out of pocket. I trusted that it was something that I needed, though, as I was too naive at that point to believe someone with a medical degree would stoop so low as to drill unnecessary holes into someone teeth and steal over a grand from a public school teacher. I made an appointment to come back a few days later to get the cavities filled, the only thing that saved me was my internet search of this place which revealed a negative review on Google, one person said they were told they had 9 cavities and turned out they did not. I thought how odd that was that I was also told the same amount, 9 cavities, so I called the next morning, the day of my appointment, and cancelled. I then made an appointment for a second opinion and was told I had NO cavities! I couldnt believe it. I have since been back for another 6 month check up and guess what, still no cavities. It baffles my mind how this place is real and still in business, I am so thankful that I did not have fake cavities filled. People seemed so nice there, and I hope the receptionists and hygiene assistants come to realize what is happening there (they must already!) and grow a heart and leave.

I have to be honest, going to the dental office scares me but knowing I am in good hands makes it a little bit better. North Aurora Dental Associates is a dental office I have been going to for a while and each time I go into the office I am always greeted by a friendly smile. The ladies up front are quick to calm me down and even start up a conversation that we were having a few weeks ago (the last time I was in). Then once I get back into the dental chair whether its with my hygienist or my Doctor I am always put at ease. My dentist is very knowledgeable and my hygienist is very gentle. Even though I am still nervous and would much rather be any where else than at my dental office I still continue to go to North Aurora because they take great care of me. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to check them out, you wont be disappointed.

I went there last year trying to find a reputable dentist in the area because mine is located 45 miles away. Had a coupon for free cleaning, exam and x-rays. 3 hours later I walked out with no cleaning and a patient estimate of $3000 worth of work in my mouth. 9 cavities, deep cleaning needed, some fancy cancer x-ray etc. Went to my regular dentist who gave me my cleaning and I had 1 small cavity for $120. He said there is no way that I need $3000 worth of work in my mouth (especially since I had no pain or discomfort!) Please dont go here or fall for any fancy equipment. I felt like I walked into a used car lot and not a dentist office. Places like this run on people who believe them and the sad thing is they are hurting your mouth and your wallet which is not needed these days!!!!!! Salesman!

This place is wonderful. Ive been a patient since March 2015. Right away, I felt like they really cared about me. In the past, other practices have felt like a cash grab. North Aurora Dental pointed out my problem areas, gave their recommendations, but let me get the work done at my pace. All of the staff is wonderful as well. Dr. Lee has a great "chair side manner", and its obvious that he cares about the person, not just their dental health. Darci and Holly are two of the office associates that have really stuck out. Both of them are very courteous and professional, while maintaining a great sense of humor. I have had a lot of different dentists in my life, but this is one that Ill keep forever. I wish I would of found them sooner.

One of the Dentist their has the chair side manner of Old troll. First time she saw me. She YELLED at me for having such bad teeth. (She had just taken over this position) She had no idea who I was, Or what I had been through. She told me I had a Huge Cavity, the tooth itself needed to be removed. But she stated that she would be Mad if she had to do a Root Canal. Well that was two years ago. and that Huge Cavity still hasnt appeared yet!! Talk about a Scam! When I first started going to NAD. I wanted to get my front teeth Fixed. Well 4 years later and they still havent fixed them yet. They have done a lot of other things. Which has cost us into the Thousands of $$. They need to listen to their patients more!

Best Dental Service Ever...my experience with the "Aurora Dental Team" Exceeded my expectations !!! After being treated by 3 prior dentists in Aurora,IL, this team "Aurora Dental Team" get a well deserved 5 Stars rating from me. All the time I am well informed of my dental situation, and I am offered with alternatives both dental & financial. As a Senior; I consider that Doctors Lee,DDS and Nessim,DDS, Darcy, Jessica, Holly, and Staff are the Best alternative in Dental Care. Come over and experience it by yourselves.....Also, they have Spanish speaking professionals in the Office. Thank You Aurora Dental Associates !!!
