After returning to this Urgent Care and having a completely different experience, I must warn Google users to avoid. During this visit, I waited over an hour to see a MD. The MD was unapologetic about the wait and seemingly annoyed when I pointed out how long I sat out front despite the very few patients ahead of me. She then went on to order a Flu test. Seems simple, right? Well a q-tip swave and $268 later (two $134 tests for influenza A&B), I was sent on my way with a Rx for Zofran (a medicine traditionally prescribed for chemo patients nausea). The total bill was $464, which included $196 for the privelege of speaking to a doctor for less than 10 minutes. This is irresponsible medicine at its finest. I have BCBS PPO insurance through Chicago Public Schools, so evidently its ok to charge whatever and run diagnostic tests that are very expensive with total disregard to patient consent or the associated costs. I would have saved money and recieved better care by clogging up an emergency room at Christ. Do not go to this location and if you are reading this in their waiting room, ask for the cost upfront because they will not disclose this information. Even if you have better coverage or have met your max out of pocket expenses, I urge you to reconsider because places like this drive up the cost of Healthcare by taking an irresponsible approach to testing and general care/treatment.

They have a lot of procedures in place that are probably supposed to expedite the process... they dont work. If you come here, you will spend two hours waiting to be seen. No less.
