I have never had such a poor hospital experience in my life. I was admitted to this hospital following a car crash and was very shaken after the crash. I was repeatedly told by hospital staff to relax and calm down. Not once was I told I was safe, that they were going to help me, or anything; just merely told to relax. Next, three different nurses attempted to start an IV on me in over 5 different places which left me with bruises all over both of my arms since they could not find a vein and were digging the needle under my skin to try to hopefully hit one. I was already in pain from the crash and then having poorly having IVs attempting to be started on me, I was in tears and told yet again to relax. After the 2-3 IV stick I asked for something to numb my skin before their poorly trained nurses tried yet again to go fishing in my arm and I was told that "they dont do that." After falling asleep, the next morning I awoke with the neck collar still on me and the call light a good foot or two above my head. Being that I had a fracture in my back and was not supposed to move my neck yet, Im still curious as to why a call light would be well out of my reach above my head. After laying in bed over a half hour, I finally managed to grab a hold of the call light to get somebody to help me. When I mentioned to the CNA that came that nobody had came to check on me, she said well you were sleeping. I then asked for something for pain and she went to get the nurse. The nurse came and said that she "would see what she could do" about getting my something and then disappeared for over a half hour. After this half hour, the CNA then came back to the room and told me that they need to move me to the hallway because there are more urgent cases coming in. Being that I am studying to be a nurse, I can understand, however, I still had not received anything for pain. After well over 30 minutes, I am laying in the hallway in a neck collar in the ER and I ask another staff number where my nurse is because I asked for something for pain almost a hour ago. This person went to go check with my nurse and were never seen again. After over an hour, I found the CNA and asked her why I still had not received anything for pain, I was told that my nurse was busy and that she would try to find someone. Over a hour since I ask for something for my FRACTURED BACK, I am still laying in the ER hallway in pain in a neck collar. I find yet another staff member and almost in tears ask for something in pain and tell them Ive been laying here over a hour in pain. Still nothing is done!!!! Finally, almost two hours later, I say something to a nurse who had been sitting off to the side not acknowledging me. She finally gives me a regular TYLENOL for a fractured back and then asks another nurse to discharge me. I understand that emergencies happen and whatnot, but that means I should lay in an ER hallway for almost two hours with a fractured back in a neck collar in pain to get a tylenol. Absolutely horrible hospital!! I am filing a medical complaint as well. Even if there were an emergency it would be best to go to a hospital a bit further to actually be treated humanely. I would negatively rate this "hospital" if given the opportunity. I cannot say enough bad things about this place.

I came in with pain in my stomach unable to keep anything down. I was 4 months pregnant. My friend and i came in to the emergency room, not kmowing there were different sides to the hospital. We stay in the suburbs, but christ is where i go for my care. We get there, as soon as we pull up we were greeted at the car by a security guard with a wheel chair. He politely locked the wheels and he helped me onto the seat. While explaining to my friends how the 24 hour valet parking works. As we walked into the emergency area the security guard said "maam have your ID and insurance card ready for the clerks." I had them out. We got in and the clerk instantly says "your pregnant?" I shook my head, she instantly called the pregnancy emergency room and they sent someone to get us. We waited all of 5 minutes. The escort came, she took us to the right side and instantly put me in a room. She helped me into the bed, asked a few questions and a few minutes later the nurse walked in. She took my vitals and asked questions, told me the doctors would be in shortly. She gave me a gown and blanket. As well as my friend one. A few minutes later the insurance lady came in, had a few papers for me to sign and told me she hopes i feel better. The doctor came in a few moments later. He had them start an IV after finding outid thrown up for the past few hours and i was having stomach pains. In total i had 3 IVsin that day, 3 cups of ice, crackers and juice. They made sure i could keep stuff downbefore letting me go. I didnt have a single issue with how they took care of me and what was done, some of these reviews in the negative seem very false, esespecially since the hospital has been remodeled and done in such a way that you must go on on the ground level and there is a security guard there and waiting.

PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!! The staff is EXTREMELY rude, lazy, and uncaring! You will DEFINITELY have a horrible experience because they take in too many patients for one, for two, their staff is TOTALLY DISCONNECTED from EMPATHY, and the idea of QUALITY SERVICE!! I suffer from Epilepsy, and after 2 grand mal seizures over the course of 2 hours in the waiting room, they finally moved me from the chair I kept falling out of in the waiting room of the ER to a gurney in the hallway of the ER where I was left for 4 more hours to have a total of 5 more grand mal seizures before I was EVER seen by a Doctor!! My husband said he wouldve moved me to another facility if he wasnt so afraid to take me out of there due to my repeated seizures! For one, you never leave a person who has grand mal seizures in a chair! For two, I never received any medicine, an EEG, CT scan, or any tests!! When my seizures finally subsided for 2 hours, and I came to, I found myself being stared at by EVERYONE else in the hallway of the ER (patients, visitors, staff, janitors, etc.)! Of course being epileptic, I was just trying to figure out where the hell I was in the first place! I have had this condition for years, and I tell you: I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this hospital EVER IN MY LIFE, and my husband knows to pass it up next time!! I did not feel safe or comfortable in their ER. It took for my husband to tell me what was going on as I fell in and out of seizures; thank god for him because my husband said he only seen a Dr. twice; 4 hours from being taken to the hallway of ER, and then 5.5 hours from the time of that first Dr.s hallway "stopby." I get theyre busy, but there is NO EMPATHY, PROPER OR QUALITY PATIENT CARE, nor CONCERN PRACTICED in their ER! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, PLEASE DONT!!!!
