Stay away! If you need an er take the drive elsewhere. Night shift nurse staff is great but they are only limited to do so much. Morning nursing staff seem to act like teenagers on a high school hallway. My wife had a out patient pricedure, by the way you have to share rooms and your not allowed to stay with your loved one. You need to leave because of the room sharing. The out patient pricedure was completed the same day, but the same night she was suffering de from obdominal pain. Ive seen this woman deliver 3 of my kids and not even a tear went down her eyes when that happened. Tonight was different. When we asked the nurse for some pain medication it took the doctor 30 minutes to approve it. 2 hours later she was in pain again, asked the nurse she said not till 6am. Again nurse is just doing her job. She tried to contact the doctor again and again and no answer. This was at 3 am, my wife on pain for 2 hours now. I said enough and took her out the hospital and drove elsewhere. If you like your privacy while your in pain or recovery dont step foot in this place. If you like to share rooms with other inconsiderate patients that dont know how to stay quiet and soil on themselves well this is the place for you. Prepare to suffer a lot of pain. Youve been worn! Good luck!

I would call this place more of a morgue then a hospital, my girlfriend took me to this hospital a two years back for a pain that felt like i was hit in back of my head and numbness in my left arm and couldnt speak to the point that it was hard for me to pronounce any words and when i was in the ER it took about an 1 1/2 to attend me and to tell me nothing was wrong with me. Im 57 146lbs slim body with no medical conditions perfectly healthy, to not have nothing wrong No xray, catscan, EKG, blood pressure, or blood drawn was ever done and was discharge My girlfriend took me to another hospital Masonic Medical center where i was immediately admitted and was told I was having a mini stroke!! And let me tell you while i was waiting in the ER Room a guy probably late 50s came in with chest pain holding his chest while the wife is screaming hes having a heart attack the ER staff made the poor guy wait in the ER room almost 5 minutes passed by and the man dropped to the floor floor and the ER staff came out and said "Sir are you okay?" like really and sure enough they called a CODE BLUE which mean "begin immediate resuscitation efforts" and due to theyre carelessness and incompetence the poor man passed away...

I arrived at this hospital last night with my spouse for him to get mental help as well as a physical check up . I would say I most definitely will not be coming back anytime soon . The service is horrible. I cant believe a person that does not have Insurance has to be treated differently from someone who has insurance . We waited for 9 hours in the hallway . And the crisis worker as well as the doctor told us we could no longer get a room until Monday . To top it all off they took a urine sample and blood samples and did not check in with him at all for the rest of the time being. Instead they want to leave him in the emergency room Hallway for three days until they decide to get him a room . Complete bullshit . To add on a nurse finally came to her senses to check in and say he was not registered come to find out he has insurance . Some nurses are very compassionate with some patients . One nurse in particular Gloria is very rude . But advice never come to this hospital. Worse hospital I could have possibly been to

I was in the ER.room a few months ago and was treated quickly & admitted. My experience in the ER.room was positive.I was treated with respect & courtesy. The ER.room was very busy, alot of people being attended.I did have to wait for a bit to get blood work results. And then the Doctor decided it was best for me to stay.I am greatful for a hospital in our community. They are getting better these days.I was reading all the negative reports given to the hospital and was having doubt. But we must remember when we are the patient in pain we also must have patience. I agree the hospital is a little out dated but they are working on it.For this I am grateful. Thank you to all the nurses & the Doctors & technician, that have crossed my path in life. P.s.I was in the hospital yesterday for one day out patient.Had my procedure and I am home.Thank you OR.room out patient unit,& 3rd flr . nurses Ms.. Juliette.Dr.David Fishman Molly.Dr.Vatev.Dr.Dhananjava.I am grateful for a wonderful team of Doctors I have been blessed with.

This is the worst hospital!!!! I called to schedule a MRI for my mother and the lady scheduling the appointment had an attitude from the minute she picked up the phone. I ignored it just wanted to schedule the test and not deal with her. We went through the process then she sees my mothers chart and was like oh wait we cant do it she has a pacemaker. I was surprised because every yr she has an MRI done. I explained that to the lady and she was like well we cant do it so call your dr and hangs up on me! Well I called Presence Resurrection Medical Center, figure I see if they can do it, and they had absolutely no problem scheduling the test. In fact they said her chart is notated and there was no problem doing the test. From now on I rather drive 15 mins to Presence Resurrection Medical Center then 2 mins to Community First for any testing that is needed!!!!

The worst hospital and emergency room in the world. It doesnt even deserve a 1 star. We went to the emergency room to have my sons swollen eye checked, it never happened. August 12, 2015 we got to the emergency room around before 1:00pm we sat there until 3:15pm. All that was done was triage and registration. A lot of people where there earlier than us and nobody got any medical attention, 5 patients left including those who wants their infant babies to be checked, because of the long wait. When we ask about the status or if they have an estimate how many more hours should we wait to be checked or should we just go to another hospital, the rude lady on Window 1 said she dont know and told us we can go to another hospital if we want to "we are not forcing you to wait here!"... This hospital is worse than 3rd country hospitals. Slow, Rude Staff.
