LOVE THIS PLACE!! .Would give them 10 stars if possible. I have been brining my pets here for over 40 years. (when Dr. Valentine was still there). Dr. Latoza is still there, but now the wonderful Dr. John is there too, along with another vet who may be on a rotating shift if one of the other doctors is out. To the person who wrote the review saying the doctor who has been there 30 years has left... NOPE! Hes still there along with most of the orignal staff. Everyone there is very friendly, true animal lovers, and reasonably priced. My dogs actually like seeing everyone there. The cats, well that depends on what theyre there for. The staff at Suburban Animal Hospital care about your pets and their owners. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! XOXOXOXO

This hospital saved my pets life when every other place turned us away or asked us to wait months for an appointment, the severity of his injury would not have allowed him to survive long i greatly thank the staff at this hospital you guys are true to heart with your feelings for these animals it makes me smile every day knowing that people like you all exist and by the way, captainmorganstonecoldsteveaustinmrbojanglessircharlesKeekers thanks you guys greatly, his tail will heal and our hearts feel less heavy knowing the great care he got with you guys, i will never trust my pets with anyone except for you guys, i wish i could rate higher than excellent.

The doctors here really love the animals they care for. My wife and I live in the city, and we make the drive all the way to where he is located simply because we trust him with our cats. The facility is a little old which may turn people off, bu the care is great, price is reasonable, and most importantly, they love each animal that comes in the door.

My fiancé took our dog in for a teeth cleaning and they killed him. Our healthy dog was killed by this vets incompetence. Our dog is dead now and we are currently waiting for the vet to come back at 4pm just so we can get our dogs body back and so he can explain to us where he screwed up. This place kills pets. Dont bring any of your animals here.

How do you kill someones dog and make them pay for it. Also its shameful that you make them wait 4 hours for the first babies body. Especially after you guys did all the checks and balances before the teeth cleaning was done. This is shameful and a disgrace!!! Very unhappy

While we lived in Oak Lawn, Dr. John was our vet. He never steered us wrong and took impeccable care of our dogs. Our old ones and our new puppies. They were reasonably priced and very compassionate.

apparently the vet who worked this facility for at least 30 years has left. he was wonderful. the vet who has taken over the practice seems capable but has doubled the cost of care.
