Dr. Perez and Dr. Barry have been nothing but short of a miracle with our baby Ranger. Last Wednesday he fell ill. On Thursday, they took him in quickly with no appointment. The front staff is excellent, the back staff, is beyond approach. They diagnosed him, keep him there over night with IV and fluids and antibiotics. Turns out, as most puppies chew everything and tear up everything, there appears to be a blockage. He has been there since last Thursday and is in surgery right now. He could not be in better hands at this Veterinarian Hospital. I keep seeing all of these posts about it is to expensive, blah blah blah.. Let me tell you a story of my precious black wolf/Shepherd Gracie who died a year ago this month. A Vet here in Berwyn, Diagnosed her wrong 5 times, (I will never go back to that vet office) rude staff), and charged me over $5,000 and you know what she was 6 years old, and she suddenly came up with cancer, and you know what, they never tested her for that until I demanded that! She had just went to the doctor in June and died in September. Take care of your animals, love them, do what you have to do for them. Seek out the best people to care of them. i hope this review gets to Dr. Ernesto Perez., i was at your location today., we have set up apt., we arrive 10 to 15 mins earlier., we were greed nice and send to room., we were there for 45 mins and no one let us know anything, finally Mayra come and ask us a question that i was unable to answer at that time but let her know i can find out., i try to find out how long more will take because we been there for a while with out any courtesy to tell us that may take a while., i think went we set up apt for a service needs to be respected and if some reason can keep up with schedule the need for some courtesy will help by tell your customer whats is happening., went i bring this to Mayra attention and ask how long more will take., she just simply reply with " dont know" we are busy today!!!., i let her know i need to know, we have other business to do and been here for while(50 mins)., if they can provide with service at the time will need to reschedule for other day., her answer was "fine".,so i just leave., i am very customer service oriented and hope the Dr. Ernesto Perez read this and teach his team with better customer service.Very Bad experience., and cant recommend to visit.

My family has been in Cicero since the 1940s and always had pets. I myself born and raised in Cicero (55 years) have always had dogs and still do. They are my world. I would do anything for them and I always want the best of everything for them. I have been to so many vets in and out of the area I was thrilled to see a new vet was opening nearby and did take my dog here. With that said I will never take my dogs anywhere else ! I myself am in the Animal Care profession and can tell you first hand Dr, Perez is the veterinarian you want for your pets. He is compassionate, honest and he takes as much time with you and your pet as needed. My dog was petrified of every vet I took her to. Even going as far as attacking when the vet walked into the exam room. But not with Dr. Perez, she was great so YES our babies know when a vet has compassion of which DR PEREZ has so much of -- My whole family will continue to take all our dogs to this vet. You should too!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolute worst experience I ever had thanks to "Dr" Trask. I understand Saturday being a busy day for them but to skip over my dogs physical that I asked for when I made the appt then again when I checked in is unacceptable. When I confronted them about how I wasnt paying for a service that wasnt given "Dr" Trask was very condescending. I should have not left Dunkin on Laramie, that Dr actually treats my dog with care and concern as if he were caring for a person, not like a robotic assembly line like this cereal box Veterinarian "Dr" Trask that cant work under busy conditions.

Prices are too high-- Dr. Trask diagnosed my dog with 100% confidence (from "years of experience") she was having a false pregnancy and started her in antibiotics and a diuretic-- Dr. Meyers followed up with her and diagnosed her with something else and I dont know if I can trust Dr. Meyers diagnosis so Im getting a second opinion somewhere else!-- stuck with a bill from a misdiagnosis!-- and the girls at the counter are unprofessional and shout my dogs business as if it were gossip of the day

Me and my daughter came in to put to sleep our long time family cat. His office did very well in making such a painful event less painful as can be done. Dr. Perez was very professional , his office clean and well taken care of. I had a good vibe when we entered the front office and while our short wait to see the doctor. I would see him for our other cat for any future needs. Thanks to the Animal Hospital and staff at a very difficult time.

We were extremely pleased with Dr. Perez and his staff. We took our dog in to see why he had been so lethargic. Dr Perez, instantly, ran a series of tests and scans while on-site. He laid out our options and began treatment almost immediately after. Though we may not have received the news we wanted, we were at least able to take advantage of the time we had left with our dog. I would definitely refer other pet owners here.

I recently adopted a dog and took her to here for a general check up and for kennel cough. Dr. Perez was very helpful in treating her for kennel cough and for giving me advice on diet and other pet care issues. The office is very clean and welcoming and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend Animal Hospital on Route 66.
