It will be extremely hard for you to find a better dental experience than what you will receive at Signature Smiles. Ive been seeing the owner, Dr. Buen, for more than 15 years now. I thank my lucky stars that I found her, because I had a series of unfortunate experiences with my previous dentists that had me ready to give up on going to the dentist as often as one should. Heres why you should go to her practice too; * Dr. Buen and her team are extremely committed to what they do. They stay up on the current trends in dentistry, and their treatments reflect that. * This office is extremely nice. It must be a requirement to work there ... Ive never seen so many kind people in one work place. * Signature Smiles is transparent and trustworthy. They always let you know what you will pay up front, and they never recommend a procedure that isnt necessary. * Dr. Buen fights for her patients. She and her team will do whatever they can to preserve and protect what you have. And, they are really good at it. * Dr. Buen is also extremely talented and knowledgeable about cosmetic issues. She will politely and tactfully recommend things that will make your smile look better, and make you feel more confident. * This is a cool perk that you wouldnt normally think to look for in a dentist ... the office is extremely savvy when it comes to technology. Every room has its own X-Ray. Your files are digital, so the doctor can pull them up right in the room. And if they want to teach you about a particular condition/treatment, they show you a video right then and there. Dr. Buens husband, Sid, uses state-of-the-art technology to make crowns/onlays right in the office ... no temporary crowns that require you to come back. Every dental chair has a TV, which is extremely nice if you are someone who really needs to think about something else when your mouth is being drilled on. They also have complimentary wi-fi. And, they send you email/text reminders about your appointments. * The cherry on top is that they give you the best goodie bags when you leave. They have an awesome lip balm that is unlike anything I can find in the store :)

When I went to Dr. Buen I was assured that she was extremely gentle, explained everything thoroughly and that she listened to her patients. I explained that I had a horrible experience with the last dentist I had visited and she said that she would work hard to make me feel better about dentists. The first visit was great and cleaning was fine, but when I went back to get an inlay and an onlay done I realized I had made a mistake. Not only did she not listen to me when I said that I could feel pain, she waited until I had tears streaming down my face before she finally gave me more novacaine! Her reasoning: she didnt want to send me home with a numb mouth! After that she told me I was done and when I came back due to still having pain she again said that we were done with the 3 teeth she drilled and to set up an appointment form the next procedures that needed to be done. Needless to say, I never went back. That is until 9 months later when a filling she did came out so I had to call and speak with her office. Not only were they rude and condescending, but there was no note of the work she had done on one of my teeth. They treated me as though I was crazy and finally I had to work with the office manager to try and get in to see her. The office hours are the exact hours that I work so it took over a month for me to be able to see Dr. Buen only to find out that she had drilled my tooth and only placed in a temporary filling! This was not found until two more staff members told me that Dr. Buen had not done anything to that particular tooth. Dr. Buen finally came in and admitted she had, but didnt write it down in my chart because she didnt want the front desk staff to "get confused" and charge me extra. Umm...either get smarter front desk people or make a note saying "did this but dont charge". Do not go here they are completely incompetent and should not be in business!!

I have been going to Signature Smiles for at least 5 years, and it may even be closer to 10. Im sure it may strike as hyperbole to say that I actually look forward to my appointments. I mean, who "likes" going to the dentist? I assure you in this case its not hyperbole. I truly love this place. From the front desk staff to the dental assistants to Dr. Buen herself, everyone here is so effervescent and joyful. I walk in smiling, and I walk out smiling... only with cleaner teeth! I now live in Boston, but I still get my teeth cleaned and checked at Signature Smiles. I cannot imagine going somewhere else. Aside from just the overall pleasant staff, there are a few other things that set this place apart: - If you need any major work done, they will work with you, your schedule, and your budget to get it done. They are always understanding and never pushy in this regard. I pushed off some reconstructive work for several years because I didnt have the budget for it, and they understood that. When inwas ready for it, they helped me create a feasible payment plan. It was painless in every way. - They take the time to educate you on teeth care. From why plaque forms to what types of foods are best post a whitening treatment. They have even given me photos of my individual teeth to show me where and how to brush better. - They explain what they are doing before they do it. - They take all forms of insurance and will even work with you if you have no insurance. - They provide some of my all time favorite chapstick in their goody bag at the end of each appt. - They can perform a lot of speciality procedures in the office. - They remember cool details about your life in between visits (Mallory is AMAZING at this), so you can catch up on conversation as if you had never left. If youre trying to find a solid dentist, you can stop your search. Signature Smiles is the best.

My biggest fear was going to the dentist, causing me to not get the maintenance and services I should have over the years. I stumbled across Signature Smiles Dental and I am so grateful I did. The staff is extremely supportive and sensitive; they makes a positive experience. They understand my anxiety and work very hard to make sure that I understand what is going to be done and that I am comfortable throughout the entire process. If I have any concerns Dr. Buen is very attentive to addressing them. Im still terrified to get dental work done, but Dr. Buen, and her team, have worked with me to make sure that I have the best teeth possible and that Im able to maintain them. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Service is not bad, friendly but they dont even provide emergency phone numbers like most of the dentists. I have procedure done in my mouth and I have to go back several more times cause wasnt done right way and you have to wait till next morning to call in pain : (- Its expensive too! One girl working there was always asking me personel questiones why I have to reschedule my appointment after I gave her reasonable answer. At first I was happy, office looks not bad, but after getting second opinion my procedure wasnt done the way others will have done it. I dont know how long it will last, hope they also work on calling back sooner after requesting it
