The worst! I took my 16 year old dog here for a 3 day stay while I was out of town. She was being treated for a bladder infection and the vet decided he wanted to get an ultrasound without my consent. She had arthritis and I wouldt have approved it. When I went in to pick her up I heard a dog crying and screeching, another customer asked the receptionist what was going on and the receptionist replied, "Ah, its just a really old dog" and rolled her eyes. This went on for at least 10 minutes. I was shocked to find out it was my dog! The vet had nerve to complain that she bit him. I hope it got infected!!!! These people dont like animals and are completely lacking in compassion. Dont take your pets here!!!! i took her to another vet and she said that she wouldnt do it w/o anethesia and she didnt have any symptoms that would necessitate an ultrsound.

In the past year, my cat has been having many health issues such as seizures and urinary crystals blocking his ability to go. It was extremely frustrating trying to figure out what was wrong with my cat and trying to find the appropriate care for him. Arlington Parks veterinarians have been extremely helpful in being available for me to call and see to get the right care for my cat who is happy and healthy napping next to me as I write this. Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital was also able to tell me which diet was best for my cat which has made him accident free since! 4 months and counting!

I have been taking my pets to Arlington Park Vet Hospital for 19 years. They are the most knowledgeable and caring group of people I have encountered in an animal hospital. Taking my pets to them feels like taking them to see family. Drs. Fetzer, Ernat and Mottonen have thew skills to provide excellent care for all of our pets with compassion and efficiency. Kathy, Katy, Marina and all of the staff treat us with respect and friendship. The cats might not enjoy the trip all that much, but I would not take them anywhere else.

We went to this vet office for the past 3 years. Every time I go, I felt very unwelcomed by the front office staff. Due to the convenient location, I continued to go. I recently switched to a different animal hospital/ vet and it like night and day! I also had a problem with the two vets contradicting themselves with information on dosages. This was frustrating. I highly recommend a different vet. You pay a lot of money for services; you should be treated with a smile and consistently be given accurate information!

I highly recommend Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital! Their home visits have allowed me to keep my 15+ year old boy healthy without the stress of leaving the house. Dr. Mottonen is caring, kind, and knowledgeable. The vets, vet techs and office staff are all friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I have complete peace of mind about the health of my 3 dogs since I started using Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital. Our cat was very sick. When I called they asked if I could come over right then. When we got there the girls up front were do very nice and empathetic. We were taken back right away and within a few minutes the doctor was examining our sweetie. She took him back, gave him IV fluids and prescribed an antibiotic. Everyone was so nice and professional. I could not believe how reasonably priced they are also. Our kitty is now back to normal. We have now found our new vet!

Great for short notice visit upon rescuing a shelter dog. Willing to work with us even considering my main residence is a few states east. Not thrilled about $360 to neuter dog - have found and made appt for $75 at local low cost spay/neuter clinic. Otherwise, extremely happy with the service. Would recommend highly. Plan on having all out vet care overseen by Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital.

The staff is very attentive to me and Im rest assured when Ive had to leave her with them. Their follow up is terrific too!

Arlington Park Vet is a wonderful place! I have been to a few other vets with my dog and APV, by far, is the best place weve ever gone. The staff is friendly -- and Dr. Ernat is wonderful! APV is great about fitting us in anytime we call with issues. I highly recommend this vet for your animals!

incompetent staff. I will never go back. My dog became blind because of a medication she was on, and the vet wouldnt even recommend taking her off it. She said that was impossible and my dog was just blind. One week after I took her off it, she could see.
