Kim Petrisha

Dr. Kim is awesome! Down to earth & old school. Dr. Kims concern are the animals, not some fancy painting on the wall that you have to pay for. She answers the phone herself. There are no appointments. Its first come, first serve, unless of course an emergency comes in. I dont know how she puts in all the hours she does. If your looking for a cat, go there. Dr Kim has a lot of cats & kittens that she herself has rescued, mended, & fixed herself. My animals adore her. She gets down on the floor to treat them. The little ones go up on the treatment table) She also has many items for sale for your best friend, or you. Pet smell candles (they work great!) sprays, ID tags, some clothes, some food. If your looking for fancy, this isnt the place for you, but Dr Kims prices reflect that. Shes kind to animals & also kind to people too. No rip off here. She keeps her prices down because shes a hands on lady that does most everything herself. And for that, sometimes you just have to take a seat & wait!

I recently adopted a kitty fromi this Animal Hospital. They informed me of her background. She was brought in when she was about 9 months. she is now about a year and a half. She had been there for 9 months. So you would think she wouldnt be as friendly because she isnt free to roam all the time and isnt around a steady family. NO Way! this kitty is the most lovable thing ever! She gets along with my 2 year old and the 4 other cats and the dog we have. She loves to play with strings and catnip balls. I know the only reason she is such a loving cat is because the love she received at the animal hospital. They played with her everyday and showed her what it means to be loved. This isnt the first cat weve adopted from here either. We had adopted one about 5 years ago who was a big sweetheart as well. since adopting him, and seeing their love towards all the animals they see, we have made this our permanent veterinary home. Doc is the best!

My yorkie jumped n the tub which was filled with really hot water. (i was letting it cool off). I rushed him to this animal hospital at 8:30 at night. The vet n staff r genuinly nice n concerned. The took him n and immediatly began light therapy n iv. 80% of his body was covered n 2nd degree. They kept him two weeks! The vet assistants treated me n my dog very well. My bill was like 700 for those 2 weeks. I couldnt afford that. I paid them like 450 over the course of the two weeks. The vet let me take my baby home. They saved his life n im eternally gratefull. S/N they allow cats to roam freely in the office. But they r really sweet. U can tell the ENTIRE staff cares about the animals.

Dr. Kim has always been very kind to my pets and honest about their health care needs. There is no upsell of products or vaccinations. She truly cares about the health needs of each individual pet and really takes the time to go over everything with you. No appointments are necessary which is nice. If you have to wait, its only because she is taking such great care to the pet ahead of you. I would recommend her to anyone. She has a heart of gold and is not in it to make money. She is there for her love and respect of animals

The doctor is great. Shes attentive and detailed during your visit. I board often and have never had any problems or concerns. Prices are reasonable. They get busy and could use additional staff at the check-in desk. But its certainly worth the wait. I like boarding my dog at a place that has his doctor on site. If your pet is missing shots, they can take care of that for you in addition to boarding and grooming.

I took my cat in cause he was peeing blood and I get there they take my name and pets name and wait for the doctor for an hour. Then the receptionist tells me the doctor cant see my cat cause shes going on vacation tomorrow! So I had to leave for another animal hospital! Also I took my cat to be groomed there and he would come back with cuts on him because they were not careful enough grooming him!

Love this place! Prices are great, I agree they are understaffed but they are a non profit organization, so you cant really complain! they do this out of the kindness of their heart to save animals and home them. They are over flowing with animals but I am thankful for this place because its places like this that make an incredible difference in these animals lives!

Best Vet hands down. Yes, there is no appointments so you can wait a little longer but she is the best around. My dog was in intensive care for three days and recovered AND it was cheaper than any other vet around me by $600. She will forever take care of all my animals. I trust her with their lives ❤️

We love the staff at the Animal Medical Center! We first took our dog here after calling around to compare vaccination prices in our area -- they were by far the most reasonable. Weve been going back ever since! The late hours and weekend hours are very convenient as well.

I ve had Dr Kim forever,it is first come first serve but its worth it,I have been with her from the beginning,her prices are low,shes a good surgeon,never had a problem there,I dont know what I would do if she wasnt around.

Hire more staff! The wait time is obscenely offensive. You have to wait incessantly for anything, no matter how little. Thats enough to make me find another animal hospital.

The place has great service but they are incredibly understaffed. The owner of this place really needs to hire more people to handle the desk job.

They dont allow dogs to be seen when the are having a seizure. My dog could have die because of the place dont take your pet here
