Dr. Shapiro is an amazing veterinarian. Our family originally went to Blue Pearl and we were told our cat was going to die due to kidney failure, which they told us might not even work. We were also offered an option to put her to sleep. Our kitty had a death sentence, as we couldnt afford to help her out. We went to Dr. Shapiro with almost no hope. The receptionist at the front, Natalia, was extremely polite, nice and cared for our dear cat, Gracey, as if she was her own. After a brief examination, Dr. Shapiro told us our cat had a chance of recovery, He ended up saving our nice kitty. It has been a month since the procedure and she is back to her normal, sassy self. I consulted with a veterinarian whom consulted with a few other veterinarians from another animal hospital, not one of them had any type of a decent diagnosis. Then a miracle happened, my friend gave me the phone number of this magical diagnostician Dr. Shapiro, our problem was solved immediately. On another visit he diagnosed and treated our cats coughing problem. Dr Shapiro is a phenomenal vet. He has been looking after my dogs, who are now 11 and 13 years old, for years. The office is always clean, the staff is amazingly courteous and go out of their way to ensure all my dogs needs are met. When one of my dogs became very ill, Dr Shapiro went above and beyond with his knowledge and expertise to save his life. His attention to detail was impeccable and he personally called, after business hours and on weekends, to ensure my fury friend was getting better. I would never go to another vet.
