Our dog that only adorpted about a month or so before got serverly ill all of the sudden. Only a few days before my payday. We ended up taking him to another vet who qouted us an outragous amount even adding on xrays and other exspensive tests that they know we couldnt pay as its only days before our payday. Instead of just taking care of and quoting the fix for the underline problem they tols us or if you need to have him put down we will wave to office visit. Thats when we said we are going to go find another vet to care for him as he is our adopted son so to speak. We ended up at Arlington Heights Animal Hospital south and we exsplained our problem and the vet Anne a very nice caring lady I got to say looked over him and suggested what needs to be done and as it was less then half what the other place wanted we still couldnt do it so we ended up just getting the medications which he needed to get him healthy once again. All the staff members were pleasent and caring and they dont realize how thankful we are that they saved our boy. We have now found our vet and will continue to have them see our baby boy! Thank you to the vet Anne and all the staff who helped our boy Snickers on his road to recovery. We are truly thankful and to anyone reading this we as well as Snickers would recommend this vet to all who love their pets and wants the best and afforable care that they can possibly get. Oh one more thing before I end this. He had goopy eyes... we decided that we did not want to wipe them clean as too show all of his symptoms. The first vet mentioned it and only mentioned it. Anne the vet at Arlington asked about it then got down floor level with him and wiped them clean first thing. Really shown her true love for the pets us as owners love. She is in the vet business for the love of the pets and not onky for the money thats in it!

Summary? Big rip off. So my cat has chronic allergies. She needs steroid shots every three months. Went to Arlington North and the vet there was straightforward and great about how nothing really helps except steroid shots. Went to do appointments at South because its easier to do an appt than walk-in for my schedule. Both times I went, the vets kept asking me about doing all these other procedures that have not worked on her and are a waste of time and money. First time, I saw someone who only charged me the cost of the vaccine ($35) because the visit lasted less than 5 minutes. Second time, I saw Pinkerton who charged me $80 for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes. The vet techs wouldnt let me leave without paying $45 for the 1-2 pet office visit for my one pet that lasted under 5 minutes plus the $35 shot that Pinkerton said she reduced from the last time I came in. I did not want to have my pets dosage reduced and had to stay longer to call my bank to transfer money into my account, as I only had $40 in it fully expecting it to be $35 like the first visit. So then I wake up this morning, less than one month after the visit, to find my cat has more sores. The shot didnt work because she gave my pet much less of a dosage than before. So I pay $80 for a shot that lasts less than a month despite the fact that the two prior visits I paid much less for shots that worked a full three months. I called to complain, and they called back saying they cant do anything except give her Zyrtec and Bendryl, which I have tried before and dont work. NEVER go to Pinkerton. She will take your money and force you to come back to her sooner than you would have before. I spent two weeks worth of grocery money on a vet visit that lasted less than 5 minutes and a shot that lasted less than one month. Worst waste of money ever.

My golden retriever had blockage in her intestines(she ate one of my daughters socks and it got stuck). She had to have a $2000 surgery or die (my current vet said this surgery should have cost far less than this) I paid half at time of service and arranged a payment arrangement for the rest. The surgery went great and my golden has been fine ever since. I fell behind on my payments due to loss of employment. Instead of working with me, they sued me. I am now paying what I can every month to the courthouse, accruing so much interest that I will never pay it off....Today I called Arlington Emergency line because my other golden is lethargic and coughing. It is Sunday, my new vet isnt open on Sundays. I told them his symptoms and they said he should be seen today. I told them my name and they immediately said they cannot treat him until I pay off my past due balance.....They do not care about Animals lives. They care about money. Avoid this vet.

I made an appointment for this Vet. As they were recommended from a friend. Made an appointment for 1:PM, and showed up 10 minutes early. All was fine got into a Room and got my pet weight done. good to go still have 5 minutes before my appointment. -_- I then sat in this room for the next 50, yes 50 Minutes. It is now 45 Minutes PAST my appointment time. Nobody has said a single word to me at all. I collect my pet and on the way out the door I tell all the people at the reception desk that i thought is was bad form to make people wait that long. Guy behind the desk responds with "Dont be a Dick" ..... OMG! O_o Really! I guess they do not really care about anybody or their pets. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET! Oh yea I HAVE to give them at least a 1 star because it wont let me post otherwise. Wish i could give them -3 Stars

Hands down, Dr. Anna is the best thing since sliced bread. My 11 year old Basenji, Archie, had not been able to walk more than a few steps for almost a week. It was to the point where I had to carry him to potty each and every time. We were lead in a few different directions until Dr. Anna got her hands on him. From the initial few seconds of talking to her, we felt something different. She genuinely cared. She sat in the floor with Arch man and rubbed his back. She got him on a proper regiment and 3 days later, he jogged for the first time in months. A month later and he is better than he was 4 years ago. I cant sing her praises enough. Thank you Arlington Heights and most especially Dr. Anna.

Non-invasive approach tried FIRST. We are very happy. Our heeler had a ruptured ACL and, after the x-ray, the Doc did not suggest surgery as we had feared. Instead, she had us keep her confined, taking anti-inflammatories and getting some focused laser heat treatments on the injury. We followed the regime carefully and our dog is walking normally again. It took time but its been worth it. Now were careful with her, because it may happen again. Luckily this is our couch potato of the two, not the dog who loves to run around madly, so we are optimistic. We will certainly go back to this vet!!
