I used to bring my dog there, never had any problems but reading your remarks to your clients is enough to ensure I will never bring another animal there again. See your replies represent you as a buisness and are enough to turn away potential or returning customers and your behavior is appalling and down right sad because I would expect an adult to respond back to someone in a professional manner regardless of what someone is saying about them. Not too mention that an employee represents your business and if that employee is rude or otherwise then this is EXACTLY the forum for it to be brought up on. Your employees represent you as a business, thats how customer service works. Therefore, if your front office receptionist is rude then your office has poor customer service which means your reviews will be poor because your staff is apart of your business. I dont understand how you cannot put those two simple things together. You keep telling people who have negative things to say about your staff that they have no right to say it and that its not that kind of forum when this is EXACTLY that kind of forum because your staff is part of your business and if they do poorly then it reflects poorly on you as a business owner. Its not that hard to figure out. Oh and these comments have been shared all over Facebook and thats where I saw them and why I decided to google it and comment. You have made yourself look like a fool and like a 16 year old who has to argue with everyone that doesnt agree with them and have the final say, instead you should be apologizing to those customers (because the customer is always right- its customer service 101) and tell them that you appreciate the feedback and will try to do better in the future to ensure something like that doesnt ever happen again. Its not that difficult, you dont even have to mean it if you dont want to, but you suck it up and say it because thats what a professional does! Especially if you want people to come back. So it would be wise to start replying to everyone in a professional manner regardless of what their review says. Im embarrassed for you.

NEVER AGAIN!! The first time we tried to go to this place, they said walk in only on Saturdays. We walked in and they said appointment only so we assumed we made a mistake and made an appointment while in the office. My fiance said Dr Gogh was a little rough with him but our cat was scared so maybe he was taking precautionary measures. Some time went by and our female cat needed attention, so we called to make an appointment for Saturday and they said they dont do appointments for Saturday and we are welcome to walk in between 7-12. I was confused because this already happened once so I asked to just go ahead and make an appointment and she stated its walk in only and refused to help me make an appointment. I confirmed the hours and got off the phone. Saturday rolls around and we arrive at 830am but the place is still closed. I check the hours on the door which say 9am. We decided to get some food and came back. At 858, a car finally pulled up which appeared to be the receptionist. We waited for her to unlock the door and followed as it was just after 9am. I was filling out the sign in sheet when she walked out of a back room and asked if we had an appointment and asked if we knew that Dr Gogh wont come in for another hour. He and I both looked at each other and then at her and said "no because you guys dont take appointments for Saturdays; its walk in only." She smiled strangely and said that its appointment only. 2 big complaints/questions: WHY WOULDNT THEY ALLOW ME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WHEN I CALLED??? and WHY WOULDNT THE DOCTOR BE THERE WHEN HIS OFFICE OPENS??? What a JOKE!!!!

Dr. Gough and his staff have been taking care of my Blaze for over 3 years now and we love them! My first impression was how Blaze reacted to Dr. Gough amd his staff when he was examined. Blaze was calm, very cooperative and showed no signs of stress. I knew then, I found the right Vet for him. Each visit Blaze allows the staff to hold him and do what they have to do with no issues, so if he trust them, that says a lot. We are never rushed out the door and always greeted in a friendly manner. I can usually get in same day or next day for an appointment when needed. Dr. Gough is very knowledgeable and makes sure to explain everything before we leave. If not for Dr. Gough my Blaze may not be here with me now. Dr. Gough was able to get Blaze in and diagnosed quickly and treated before things could have taken a turn for the worse, he saved my baby and got him on the right track! The prices are great and i am never overcharged or pressured to purchase things I dont need. I personally consider Dr. Gough and his staff as extended family and completely trust them with my precious fuzz baby Blaze. I just want to say thanks to all the staff for taking such good care of Blaze and being good to us too. So glad we found you..Melinda, Tyson & Blaze ❤

After discovering that my large dog was unable to stand, walk, or put any weight on her back legs I was really upset. I didnt have a local vet for her after moving here recently, so I did some searching online. I was turned away from a couple of places locally because they were either busy (it was a Saturday) or didnt take new patients on weekends. I called Clarksville Animal Hospital...they said they were overbooked for the day, but would squeeze me in if I came to wait. I went in and they had several people waiting. I signed in and it wasnt long before they could see my dog. She is extremely large and couldnt walk, so they came out to my car and helped her down to the ground. Dr. Gough examined her right there in the parking lot and told us about some options. We got her inside and he applied laser therapy to help her knees, along with medicine & a shot. Were not sure how it will all turn out for my dog yet, but I left there feeling so much better about the situation. The price was reasonable, they were so kind and gentle with her, and I will never take my pets anywhere else. Thank you Clarksville Animal Hospital!!!!

Dr. Gough has a very calming presence when working with animals. Our border collie was going to him when we lived in Jeffersonville and he always well taken care of. When we moved to Sellersburg area we started taking him to a vet in Sellersburg and to make a long story short they did not meet our expectations. In fact, I think if we had kept our dog at Dr. Goughs practice we may have had him with us for a little longer and his health problems diagnosed much sooner. The other vet just didnt seem to want to look into anything and wasnt thorough like Dr. Gough. When we could tell something was off we got a second opinion and Dr. Gough knew something wasnt right and immediately ordered blood tests. When we had to put our dog down Dr. Gough was very sympathetic with us and you can really tell he loves animals. Needless to say when we got our two new puppies about a year or so later we made sure to take them to Dr. Gough.
