My black and white cat O, was slowly winding down after 16 years of a long well-traveled life. One night, she was having severe digestive problems and I took her to a (different) emergency room vet. He suggested since she was having constipation problems, and old, that I should just put her down. But - O wasnt ready to die just because she was old! I was heartbroken that this was offered as our only option. I looked around for a different vet and found Dr. David Jones at the Cat Clinic of Louisville. First of all, this was the first vet office visit, that didnt cause O alot of stress, She was SO much more peaceful in the waiting room, without being surrounded by barking dogs. After Dr. David examined O and found her to be aging but well, he changed her diet, to a softer medical food he prescribed for older cats. This change alone helped her to live on for yet another year! But a year later, when O became really tired and started to slide, and it became obvious it was her time to go - Dr. David handled her death with grace and dignity. I can not say enough about this doctor and staff, and the excellent service he gave to me, in helping me take great care of my dearest pet friend. I recommend all those that love their cats to bring them to this wonderful clinic for their daily health and long-term care. Thank you Dr, David Jones!

If you own a cat and live in Louisville this is the place to take them! I drove 25 minutes to the Cat Clinic, because it was worth each trip. My cats Jack & Lullaby are FIV & Herpes positive & need extra special treatment. The cat clinic has gone above and beyond my expectations. From Jacks surgery (he recovered very quickly from his bladder stone being removed) to Lullabys dental surgery (she as eating like normal the 1st day after her he cured her gingivitis) and even his staff kitty-sitting for me when Im out of town for a rather cheap rate. Currently Im in the process of moving to Chicago and Im terrified of sending my cats to another doctor, because no one could be better than Dr. Jones.

My 17 year old cat, Kittywitt became ill and I did not want to take her to a clinic that had other dogs there. She can be very anxious and riding in a car is not a good experience for her. I was researching and found the Cat Clinic online, read the positive reviews and decided to take her there. Dr. Jones and his staff were excellent. The atmosphere was calming..my daughter and I tell them that they are "diffusing catnip in the air" because Kittywitt is so calm while she is there. She is thriving and we are thankful and appreciative to Dr. Jones and his staff.

I read all the comments and decided to take my male cat here instead of my regular vet. He reacted so much better and was totally calm and relaxed during his visit. The vet was very thorough and attentive to our questions. Although my cat is elderly with kidney issues I feel better about the treatment he is getting. In the two weeks since we went he has put on weight and shown marked improvement. I highly recommend this clinic. Great vet and great staff.

Dr. Jones and his staff are just the best...kind, gentle, supportive, and most importantly, super-competent. I drive an hour (one way) to bring my kitties here because everyone is so lovely and interested in the health and comfort of my fur-babies. There are no barking dogs so no one is stressed and patients move in and out quietly. Its just nice to have a feline-specialty facility in the area and to be treated so well.

Dr. Jones and his staff are extraordinary. They totally understand my "cat-lady" eccentricities...and atmosphere in the clinic is calm and supportive. I have broughteverything from litters of ferals to old friends who needed their last days to be as comfortable as possible.. ..Dr. Jones had been the perfect vet for all our needs.

The Cat Clinic has taken excellent care of two generations of my cats and I dont even live in Louisville (long story)! My one anxious cat used to get out of the carrier and walk around the waiting room. Its that zen. I have and continue to recommend them to my friends in Louisville.

My experience was terrible. I dont know if he thought I had stupid written on my back but he was trying to sell me procedures I did not need. I have worked with domestic animal for 42 years. Many of those years as a vet tech. It was a total waste of my time and my cats.

We have enjoyed being a customer of theirs for several years now. The staff is always friendly and the doctors are great! As long as we live around the Louisville area this will be the only place we will bring our cats!

Our 17 year old cat had an infected eye. It was very comfortable bringing her here without dogs to irritate her. The staff was very caring.
