After spending almost 9 hours in the ER with my boyfriend who was suffering from unexplained, severe chest pain, they wanted to send him home because all tests looked "normal" - even though his pain was the same as when he decided to go to the ER! He was given 3 Nitros, a "GI cocktail", and Morphine but nothing would dull the pain. After a very lengthy discussion with the ER doctor and finally convincing him that something was definitely wrong, regardless of their "normal" test results, the doctor agreed to admit him overnight for further observation. Within 6 hours of being admitted, he was informed that he would be taken to the Heart Cath Lab because his heart enzymes were not "normal" after all! The cardiologist found a 99% blockage in his heart that they were able to open by putting in a stent. Luckily we had been able to convince the ER doctor that he needed to be admitted! Im not sure he would have survived though the night if we would have taken their initial advise and he had gone home. VERY disappointing ER experience!

I landed in the Hancock ER while visiting from out of town. It feels strange to say that this was the most fun Ive ever had in an ER!! I was in agony, but all of the nurses kept me giggling. The med student was wonderful and his supervising doctor was fantastic. After I got pain meds and stopped wanting to rip my own insides out, I laughed my head off with them. I kind of want to go back and just go to dinner and hang out. Seriously though, from a medical perspective, they were professional and took amazing care of me. And really, the personalities, care, and compassion were impossible to beat. Thanks Hancock for caring and making me laugh my way through a kidney stone!!!

My best friend was brought into emergency with chest pains, jaw pain, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath and bp of 161/142. They did not do any blood work which would show heart trauma (bnp or triponon levels), they only did an ekg, gave her a Tylenol and discharged her. This caused her irreparable harm to her heart muscle and valve. All of this despite her having had two prior valve replacements and temporary renal failure twice in the past ten years. I would strongly urge that no one with any serious condition ever go there.

First off I wanna say greenfield is one of if not the worst hospital in indiana. Very rude staff who clearly could care a less about their patients. I suffer from severe back pain and a auto imune disease. After two pain shots and telling my rn and md the shots are not helping I get no answers to why my back hurts nore any legit medicine to help I was prescribed ibuprofen lol. Anyone who is hurting or suffers from back pain id suggest not coming to greenfield youll spend hours there and leave the same way you arrived in pain

Had an MRI and a sleep study scheduled. They called 3 hours before their scheduling office closed the night before my appointments to cancel on me. They couldnt care less about my health or the time I took off work for this. They claimed they didnt get authorization from my insurance company, but I had in my hands a letter from my insurance company with the authorization. They still didnt care. Thanks for screwing me over.

Ive never had an issue or complaint about this hospital until tonight. 10/25/2016. Every hospital worker Ive came in contact with has been super hateful. The two people at the front desk are hateful or just like sitting in the lobby waiting for my sister to get seen the nurse who came out to grab a patient was hateful to the person she came to get. Can you get better staff or is that too much to ask for??

I went to Hancock Regional Hospital for a CT scan and was pleased with the experience. Exceptionally clean, friendly and professional experience. This was in November 2012. I returned a couple of weeks later to get a copy of the results. Again great fast friendly service. I wish I lived closer to this hospital.

We were involuntarily subjected to a smoking cessation lecture by one of the hospitals employees for smoking in the parking lot. I graduated high school many years ago and I do not need your supervision when it comes to smoking. I think the hospital has gone too far with hiring Smoking Nazi to police their grounds.

This is a very good local hospital. They have worked hard to upgrade, bringing in outside specialists. But local docs are very good. Critical care was excellent. Staff and facilities. Regular floor nursing could use some work. But they assign their best nurses where they need to.

Get to different er if u get Dr Haley. U will leave with unanswered problems and get treated like a addict. the other DR s & staff dont deserve the 1star they are for the most part professional & find the problem

I went in for an abscess tooth,and was out within an hour.Im from NC,and never have l been in,and out of any hospital in NC in an hr. I was very impressed to say the least. Great job to the staff at Hancock!

Rude did nothing viable to help me in spiet of loss of control of my right foot when dicharge papers clearly stated come back if I loose control of my leg or foot. Went 2 times and no help for my foot

Exceptional ER visit with my son who has a severe allergy. Doctor listened to us, believed us, and did the right thing very quickly. Best ER visit we have ever had!

nurses never introduced them selves and acted annoyed when bothered. A doctor over looked an alergy on my chart causing even more issues. Terrible bed side manner
