Everything was fine until the last day. I was there because of a car wreck due to a medication reaction that one of their nurse practioners had given me. I think they were afraid of a lawsuit. On the Last day they send a nurse from hell in there. She hands me a glass of water and said my levels were high how much do I drink a day. I replied usually 6-8 glasses of tea or sprite a day. She said no I mean alcohol. I replied I dont drink alcohol. She wrote down that I drank alcohol daily and that it was a drug overdose. When I came home I counted my meds and had exactly the right amount. They falsified my medical records all because she campared me to her brother who had a drug problem. I do not I am on disability because I can hardly walk and have to take medication for the pain. She also refused to give me what had been prescribed to me. Wouldnt even give me my heart medicine. I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN GO BACK THERE!!

My mother-in-law was a patient at Marion General Hospital recently and I cant say enough nice things about the hospital and the staff. From the emergency room to the telemetry unit Center, everyone was wonderful and caring. I am a nurse myself and was so impressed with the nursing care that she received. Stephen and Shania were kind, caring, compassionate and so accommodating. My daughter and I live in Cincinnati and stayed every night with my mother in law and everyone was so kind to us. Dr. Sedaghat was amazing!!!!. I have never met a doctor, who was more kind or caring. He explained everything to my mother in law and our family and answered all our questions. He bent over backwards to help us make the arrangements we needed to get my mother in law to a surgeon in Indianapolis. This place is amazing!!

This place is ridiculous. If you every think you need some where to go to get checked out I suggest IU Med in Blackford County. They are a much better hospital and they care about you. Marion General is exactly what its name says... General. In my twenty-five years of life, they have never figured out what was wrong with me. They had a nurse put a catheter in backwards and pumped my bladder up to where it almost burst. Then they assumed that my pain was from a kidney stone that they basically just made up. And when I made a trip to this hospital multiple times for stomach pain. Not until I went to Blackford that I learned that I had ulcers and a heart shaped uterus. Trust me this place is just a bandage station. If you have anything really wrong then go to Blackford.

My Dr was rude....he didnt listen to me....the report he filed called me belegerient when I was upset because he walked in unannounced while I as urinating and when I asked for 30 seconds to finish he put his head down and said guess Ill come back later....he lied in his report and claimed my partner demanded I be given drugs now when my partner simply said are you telling me theres nothing you can do for him...the nurses defended his behavior but admitted he had one.....Marion General Hospital is as big a scam as the Grant County Rescue Mission

while in labor with my second daughter the nurse had no clue what she was doing had to call in another nurse to confirm I was indeed ready to push then she had to lay across my legs for 15 minutes until the doctor arrived. My daughter ended up choking on amniotic fluid that night because of the wait. I almost fell while pregnant again and was admitted to labor and delivery because I could barely walk with pelvic pain and minor contractions. I had to ask for an ultrasound and I was never seen by a doctor of the 9 hours I was at the hospital.

Went in with inflamation and swelling and pain due to OsteoArthritis and primarilly about being unable to sleep. Was treated like a "junkie" trying to "score" a fix and given the wrong medication for the problem. Basically told not to come back by a PA no less. Side effectes listed on prescribed medication included insomnia as a normal side effect.Also should be checked before prescribing for OsteoArthritis. Ok for ruemitoid Arthritis, not Osteo. Good thing I know how to google or I could have ended up?????

I cant see why mgh is still considered a hospital. Drs dont seem to care, they only do the minimum, and they dont take that extra initiative to want to know more about your illness. The ER has become a business , its like they are using a temp service to get doctors. Marion pediatrics refuse to see my granddaughter who is 8 months and has rsv because of a small balance on the bill. So they are using a dollar against the life of my granddaughter. Sorry ass hospital.

Dr Mary Saleh is very incompetent. Had us rush to the ER for nothing. The ER doctor was laughing at her diagnosis and told us we shouldnt even be in the ER. I love getting worried over nothing and getting a 400$ Bill for nothing. I wouldnt recommend her to my enemy. Good luck to her patients.

I WOULD RATHER LAY HOME AND DIE BEFORE EVER COMING HERE. THEY DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON THEY JUST GUESS. THE FOOD SUCKS AND IM STARVING. THEY MAKE YOU PEE IN A HAT THAT THEY NEVER CHECK. ITS MMISERABLE. I WOULD NEVER WILLINGLY COME HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Awful they treated me for something I wasnt in for. Go in for sore throat an I got fondled up . they wont get me back in that hospital. Then they wont let you talk to the head of the hospital. Hmmm

Pre registered, delivered my youngest child there. Was placed in the hall because they had no room. Doctor was rude. Went home that evening. Very unprofessional and a total lack of empathy.

Went in for a kidney stone and was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. They had fantastic bed side manner! They would have got 5 stars except for the absolutely horrible food!!

This has become a joke, very dirty, No practicing Doctors in area. Had my 5 yr old grandson wait 4 hr in ER w a broken arm w nothing for pain. Not even Tylenol

E.R stinks. Better chances with self treatment from Google search. Other areas such as rehab ans critical care are amazing. Nurses and doctors are competent.
