I had fibriods and Dr. Shan Biscette failed to do an MRI before doing a laparoscopic surgery to remove them. So she left a large fibriod behind by mistake. My symptoms became much worse she gave me the cancer causing Depo shot (I consider this MURDER in the 1st) which also made the fibriod and adenomyosis grow really large, and now I have adenomyosis btw which I didnt have before the surgery because the surgery took 7 hours and was so traumatic. Now my uterus is causing pressure on my legs and venous insufficiency which Biscette claimed was unrelated. I have a superficial phlebitis or worse, because she didnt do anything to help me prevent that or even give me anything post op to help prevent blood clots, just the depo to greatly increase my risk even after she knew I had a large lump om my leg.. Im still stick from the Depo. Depo is an evil drug and designed to kill you. Doctors know this but they make money every time they push it on one of their patients. My life is over and not worth living thanks to Dr. Biscette not doing an MRI, and giving me Depo, and not thinking carefully about how long it would take to do a laparoscopic procedure on a patient with emolized fibriods. Since this surgery performed by Shan Biscette and the depo my health is destroyed and I dont know if I will ever be the same or how long I will survive. Ladies DO NOT GET THE DEPO shot. You will have leg pain, extreme fatigue, spotting continuously or bleeding off and on or bleeding that doesnt stop, depression, dizziness etc. All synthetic hormones are very dangerous and the body does not recognize them. Cancer was caused in animals who used depo with very similar genetic structure. FDA tried to stop Depo but big pharma insisted and doctors keep prescribing this deadly poison for profit at you expense. Many women who take depo are injured for life. They get liver tumors, hair loss, bone loss and God knows what else. It isnt worth killing yourself to control your periods or for birth control. Tell him to use a condom or take a hike. It isnt worth blood clots, a stroke, leg pain, fibriods growing (they lied and said it would shrink mine but made it grow) depression and everything else. I might have been okay if I had not gone to OBGYN U of L Physicians. Now everyday I just try to do my best and survive all this. I know I might have to have a hysterectomy now and I dont know if I will ever recover from the depo side effects. I dont know if my legs will be okay. I dont know why God allowed this to happen to me. I was sick before, but now Im 10x worse and I risked everything to get better. It was a gamble that I lost. I am so upset for allowing the depo. I knew it was a bad idea but I was desperate at the time because of the failed surgery. Dr,.Biscette lied on all my medical reports claiming she warned me of missed fibriods. If that was the case, why didnt she perform an MRI? I consider this murder. Now I am injured and will be for life unless I can seriously survive a hysterectomy, cancer from depo and many other complications and problems associated. I hate established care. They cant be sued until after you have another surgery to correct the problem or die. Dr. Biscette just performed one mistake right after the other leaving me in a very unfortunate state of health, which could have been avoided by asking the right questions before prescribing depo, and by performing advanced imaging before a major surgery with limited feedback on a patient with extenuating circumstances. Who performs a major surgery that is known to have limited visibility with just a basic ultrasound? And who prescribes a dangerous drug to a patient who is already showing possible signs of potential blood clot? Im starting to wonder if doctors leave fibriods in on purpose so the patient will submit to having a hysterectomy. Im also wondering if they inject women with fibriods with depo to put them at risk for hysterectomy and cancer. She doctored my medical reports afterwards and failed to report to me the size of the fibriod she left and of the new disease.

PLEASE DO NOT choose a provider with UofL Physicians. One star is being too generous. It will be a nightmare to deal with office staffs, billing, customer service, business office. You will be calling for days and days with no one answering the phones. You will sit on hold for hours. If you are lucky enough to be able to leave a voice mail it will take several days to several weeks for a call back. Then if you ask a question they will have to call you back. They wont. If you have a prescription that needs to be refilled you can forget about it. It will take 3 weeks back and forth before they finally tell you to make another appointment. Then you can wait another several weeks to a month to see the physician. Want to change doctors and get your records? No way. Not possible. I have never before had to deal with such incompetence in just seeing a doctor. DO NOT risk your physical and mental health with UoL Physicians!

I love having my different specialists all in one place. Also, that theres an app for that!! I have control over my medical records, so I can send them via the app to other Drs. ULP is a great fit for me, because Ive found its so much easier, having my Drs connected, & all in the system together. It makes for a much better level of care, & better to manage. The Drs for the most part, all have a great bedside manner; & are willing to actually listen to you. This is a major part of care which can be missing from many Drs nowadays. Ive also found all of the other staff Ive had contact with to be very friendly and helpful - from the front desk ladies, to the PAs, to the schedulers. I am very happy with my level of care here, & I would gladly recommend them to anyone and everyone. In fact, thats just what Ive been doing!

I probably would be able to accurately review them if I could actually get an appointment. I have put in 3 online request and called twice in almost 2 months. After the first online request, I was called back but could not answer because I was on a plane. The person that left a message instructed me to call back and ask for her. I called back and left a message and never heard anything back. I put in another request a few weeks ago and, again, nothing. Last week I called and left a message, nothing. I called again today hoping to actually speak to someone and set up an appointment but was directed again to leave a message so I hung up. I feel like, especially considering Im trying to get an appointment with a psychiatrist, this is ridiculous.

When I lived in Louisville before, I had seen them for years. I had moved to Colorado and just recently moved back. Scheduled an appointment and driving there with the traffic on 65, it took me an hour and 15 minutes. I got to the office at 2:15 and my appointment was at 2. The office staff was not understanding and said that I couldnt be seen and would have to reschedule. I had driven from Elizabethtown for Nothing!! And to be told this just pissed me off greatly. After all of the years of going to ULP physicians and waiting a lot longer than 15 minutes to be called back to be seen, this ordeal today just is to much. I will find a family physician a lot closer to me to take care of my health care needs. This was completely unacceptable!!!
