I have used Waltz Animal Clinic for almost 20 years. I have always received exceptional service. The staff are amazing! When my dog went missing they posted an alert on the business FB page and several of the staff posted it on their personal pages. They called to check on her status and celebrated with me when she was found. Also, several years ago when I had to euthanize my 16 year old Alaskan Husky I was devastated. I looked up during the procedure and Dr. Waltz was crying too. I will forever be touched by her compassion in my time of sorrow. This is not the exception but the rule at this business. They truly love their animal patients and as difficult and hard to love as people can sometimes be, they care about us too.

Avoid this place at all costs. The reception staff is as rude as they come, interested in your money and not your pets health and wellness. Ive been hung up on and each time I called, Becky became more and more exasperated with me. Id try to explain my situation, and instead of trying to work with me to get my dog the care she needed to survive, they just kept saying "money" and "cost" -- while my dog was so rapidly deteriorating, she was unable to walk. Lost my medical records once. A generally crappy situation from start to finish. Karma will catch up with them, but I truly think their punishment is simply being the people they are and having to spend all day with themselves. So unfortunate.

Prices are rediculously high! $200 to neuter a male cat, and $260 to spay a female cat. It was $200 to spay a large female dog at North Madison Vet Clinic (I recommend them instead). No wonder people dont spay and neuter their pets!

Other than the occasional rude receptionist from Time to time, this place is great. Took my foster babies here and my furbabies. Love it here because they show great care for the animals.

Weve been using Waltz Animal Clinic for years, both for veterinary care and boarding of our dog. Staff is always friendly. Have never had any reason to consider another option.
